Dr. Ilona Ewa Samara, MD

I have never had such a rude doctor. She really does not care about her patients. She was in an alternative medicine practice of her own and all she cared about was the cash she would be receiving. Did not accept any insurance because the AMA considers her kind of practice quackery. I watched her be rude and uncaring to another patient as well.

I was impressed with Dr Samara with my first visit. She is pleasant, knowledge, and not pushy or arrogant. She seemed eager to help me with the issues I came in for, not a wait and see approach, like my last physician who I was switching from. For the first time in 2 years, I feel like I was listened to, and that my complaints were not met with a shoulder shrug , and an attitude of "that's just the way it is" when it came to issues I have been suffering quite a while with. No one is perfect, and not all doctors and patients will "get along" or see eye to eye on all things, but I felt she had a great bed side manner coupled with good knowledge and advice.

She is thorough and knowledgable! She has a caring manner and spends sufficient time with me. She is meticulous about making sure mistakes are not made.

Do NOT see this women. After 2 hours of waiting she blew in the room said nothing not even hello! She was so rushed when I asked her a question and then told her I think she misunderstood why I came in,she informed me we weren't going to get a long? What professional doctor says that! She was overwhelmed ,and I was on the receving in of her bad morning. Terrible experience I was seeking a primary care physician and have been treated with more respect at access medical. She needs to work in an ER because she has Zero bed side manner and needs to work on patients who won't ask her a question. In other words the unconscious! Save yourself the time, money and peace of mind, go elsewhere!

Terrible bedsides manner and complained to me about other patients. Very uncomfortable cold and condescending. Zero tact and uninterested in my pain. went to another dr and was informed I was pregnant. Do NOT see this dr she is very rude and cold. keep looking nobody deserves to be treated so poorly especially when it comes to their health.

As a young person dealing with some very odd symptoms for the past 4 years with little to no help from other doctors, Dr. Samara is a breath of fresh air. Our first meeting was extremely thorough and I go back tomorrow for lab work. She was very professional and knowledgeable. I look forward to working with her.She is located at St. Anthony's new location on 134th and I-44 I believe.My only con is that the receptionists are TERRIBLE. Rude, unprofessional and very condescending. Rolled their eyes at me whenever I had a question about paper work and I caught them several times talking negatively about patients on the phone or in the office.

I have only seen her once when she was filling in while my Dr. was out I was so Impressed with her help and bed side manner i'm going to change Dr.'s and start seeing her

She is a very good doctor. I don't know what that lady is whining about, if you already have an infection, anything touching that area is going to hurt anyways. The doctors job is to help you get rid of your infection. I bet after all that whining you don't have the infection anymore!

To keep this short, I'll just cut to the point. When Dr. Samara put the speculum in me it hurt so bad that I told her to get it out and stop the procedure. She told me that she had to do the procedure and refused to take the speculum out. This resulted in lots of tears for a simple diagnosis that she should have been able to diagnose simply by looking at my vagina- a yeast infection. She did not respect my rights and I was helpless. It was the most painful experience and I want everyone to be warned. DO NOT TRUST HER WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR VAGINA.
