Dr. Ilya Rabkin, MD

Dr. Ilya Rabkin is a family medicine physician who earned his medical degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo. He completed his residency training at Fairfax Family Practice Center, building a strong foundation in comprehensive primary care. With 13 years of medical experience, Dr. Rabkin provides care for patients of all ages in family medicine practice. He speaks Spanish and Chinese in addition to English.

Dr. Rabkin practices at multiple locations in Reston, Virginia, and is affiliated with Inova Fairfax Hospital. His clinical expertise includes managing type 2 diabetes in both adults and children, addressing hyperglycemic emergencies when blood sugar levels become dangerously high. He also coordinates outpatient rehabilitation services and physical therapy for patients recovering from illness or injury, and provides preventive care including pneumococcal vaccines to protect against serious bacterial infections.
