Dr. Ilya Alexander Volfson

Dr. Volfson was excellent, as were his professionals (PA, nurse, assistants). The office staff seems too laid back, not particularly cooperative, and values their time more than the patients'. But I went for the medical stuff not paper pushers.

I was referred to Dr Volfson by my PCP after a bladder and kidney ultrasound. My first visit was in January 2026. Dr was very professional and set up a cystoscopy in the office. The tumors were too large for the procedure to be done in the office. I was scheduled for surgery at the end of March. I required medical clearance. The surgery went fine and a catheter place for 5 days. Two weeks later, I got my results from the pathology, I was diagnosed with Urothelial Carcinoma. Second procedure required towards the end of May results came back clear. So he got all of the cancer and I couldn’t be more thankful I will be going into his office for immunotherapy and I feel Dr Volfson was the best referral I had in a long time.

Dr. Volfson, Makes you feel comfortable and confident about your problem. He removed my fears when he told me that I had cancer. I am really grateful that I found him as my urologist. Highly recommend him .

Apparently the patient’s time is of no value, but that of the doctor and his “receptionist” are extremely valuable 1) Rather than give me the sufficient quantity of antibiotics to cure my infection, Volfson gave a minimal amount so that he could charge me for additional office visits during my convalescence. I guess he figures that the long drives and long waits are conducive to the healing process ? But, hey he makes money every time I visit 2). Whichever inept member of his staff that set up my appointment failed to give me the info about the paperwork I was required to bring to the appointment Because I didn’t have the correct paperwork the staff said I could either pay cash up front or leave. I left

Appears to not be able to decipher and/or comprehend a patient's medical chart. Total lack of compassion. His follow up is less than desirable. His ability to give proper care is less that sub-par.

We went for urinary problem. Even after 4 visits, not able to figure out the problem. No confidence, knowledge, patience. We went to the other doctor, who treated on first visit itself. Still don't understand, who rated this guy high. For us his visits were simply waste of time and money. Even his nurse is super lazy and arrogant.

The best, he saved my life!

Dr. Ilya A Volfson is very competent and I have absolute confidence in his medical judgment. He is the best doctor that I have encountered.

Doctor Volfson treated my Prostate cancer. He explained all my options that I had and was very caring and understanding with me. I chose to have the Robotic Surgery removal of my Prostate. I had no pain at all and was only in the hospital 1 night. I had to have a catheter for about a week and that was the only discomfort I had.I was back to work within 3 weeks and am doing great. I would recommend Doctor Volfson to anyone and have told everyone I know of the wonderful treatment and care I was given.
