Dr. Imad Sami Dandan, MD

I met Dr. Dandan at the Scripps La Jolla trauma unit. He made an otherwise painful and unpleasant event a bit more manageable with his upbeat and caring demeanor. Good sense of humor. Would definitely recommend this Doctor!!!

I met Dr Dandan in the Scripps La Jolla Trauma unit. Although not feeling my best I liked his bedside manner. He was thorough in his examination and gave me a feeling of someone who knew what he was doing, was totally on top of my case and I felt in good hands. This allowed me to relax and allow him to do his job. He was courteous and communicative with me and my family. His staff were very thorough in their follow-up and I have made great strides since.

I went in for a routine surgery that should have been in and out. Ended up with a post operative infection and almost a week in the hospital. Severe pain following surgery, more than other people that I know who have had same procedure. I ended up missing a month of work and as a self employed business professional the downtime was very difficult. If you have a choice, I would seriously consider looking for a different surgeon. Nothing but problems with him and his staff.
