Dr. Imelda C Tan

Dr. Tan is one of the most pleasant and patient dentists our family has ever visited. In addition to our regular 6-month checkups over the past 4+ years, I also needed extensive dental work on 2 teeth, including a crown. Fear led me to put it off for 2 years. At each checkup, Dr. Tan would check the tooth, share the level of continual deterioration, then gently prod me, without guilt, to not wait too long to take care of it. Many times I asked the same questions about the pain associated with the procedures, and she patiently answered each time. I finally had both procedures done within 2 weeks of each other. Dr. Tan gave me a moment to collect myself before she began and she even added additional topical numbing agent before the injection. She was very, very gentle and mild discomfort was the extent of my feared pain. Also, after seeing a Dr. Oz segment, I requested a thyroid protector during x-rays. She didn't think it was necessary, but she readily obliged. Excellent dentist.
