Dr. Imran Aaron Michael Plumb, MD

Dr Plumb is very good. He listens and asks lots of questions to make sure he has a good picture of your health issues. My only concern is the clinic itself. I have billing concerns a lot and feel that it is not well run. Sometimes have to stay on them to get a response, I’ve worked in a clinic and realize they are crazy busy, but when you’re referred outside the clinic, the medical records do not get to the Dr. Have had to hand deliver CT and MRI results to the Drs I was referred to. As for the hospital, I refuse to go to the hospital in Durant so always have to be referred elsewhere. Dr Plumb is great but not the hospital or clinic he associates with. Sad, because I trust him with my life because he earned that trust when I had a stroke but was told by the radiologist that I had not. I had ab98% blockage in my right carotid and once dr plumb saw the scan, he had me go for an MRI at another location which showed the blockage and obvious stroke, then he referred me to a vascular surgeon… in another hospital. I credit Dr Plumb with saving my life! Although due to the portal the clinic uses the records did not transmit and we had to follow up with the second Dr and hand deliver the results to him. He looked at both results, got me in the same day and performed surgery the very next day. I still am recovering from the stroke that according to the radiologist, I didn’t have. That Dr had nothing but good things to say about Dr Plumb, however did supply us with his number to call him immediately in case I did have other issues and he would meet me at the nearby hospital in another location and told myself and my daughter to never go back to the hospital that had misdiagnosed or ignored the stroke and clogged carotid arteries. I still feel that Dr Plumb is the best!

Listens to my concerns. Very personable and easy to talk to. Asks pertinent questions regarding any health issues & makes recommendations for addressing these issues. Good visit each time. I feel like I have his undivided attention.

When I first started with Dr.Plumb 5 yrs ago I was in very bad shape. I am disabled, walked with cane or walker an very over weight. Well now I walk with no cane or walker & 100 lbs less. I would recommend him to ANYONE. He is a great man & doctor.

Dr Plumb always listens to my concerns and keeps me " on the right track" to better health. Including making sure keeping the appointments with all the other docs he wants me to see! And his nurse is great!

Dr. Plumb is the best. He is thorough and always listens. He is compassionate and caring. He treats his patients with respect. If he ever moves away from Durant, I will have to move too.

The first time I visitrd with Dr .Plumb was when he 1st came to Durant. He was ex husband Dr. Pumb really helped ex husband. Now that I need medical care I chose Dr. Plumb as my pcp. He has really made a change in my life. He is very thorough with you. He gets you help with other Dr's if need be. I've seen him in person/tele-visit. I recommend Dr. Plumb to anyone who may need a pcp.
