This doctor contracts with a disorganized billing service. We just received a bill from a collection agency for $21.00 for pathology performed at a surgery, although we had never received a bill before. When I called, his company said they had sent invoices, but would not allow the US Postal service to forward mail to the new address (while most companies do). Ironically, the collection agency does allow the US Postal service to forward mail to the correct address. If one would like to get paid, they should allow the US Postal service to forward mail to the new address; that is why people fill out the form at the US Postal Service to have mail forwarded. How many accounts are being turned over to a collection agency because of a bad policy within his own billing office? It is infuriating to have a $21.00 bill turned over to an agency when we paid thousands more for this same surgery.

I was billed twice for the same service with this doctor. I contacted them to resolve the issue and was told that I would need to pay the second balance through no error on my part. I do not recommend this doctor, or utilizing any services from MD Pathology.
