Dr. Imran Saleem Virk, MD

Proactive, most knowledgeable cardio doc I know. As a patient with a few health issues, I like knowing my doc sees me for preventative measures before a problem arises. Proactive not super conservative, but doesn’t do more than needed. Good bedside manner, very friendly & kind, and always on the cutting edge of newer better technologies, but doesn’t ditch the old school tried and true ones, either. I’ve been seeing him over 14 years and brought my mom to him 10 years ago after a heart attack. I believe his preventative stance & knowledge has contributed to my mom doing so well at 91 yrs old. He’s a serious doc, but personable. I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else like I trust him with my health. His staff is friendly and efficient. But this is a busy office bc they are good docs in the practice. The only con would be sometimes you do have to wait. But honestly, he’s the only doc I will wait for bc I know he will give me the time & attention necessary and will be thorough.

My mother had been seeing Dr. Virk for years. When she started having memory loss, dizziness and falls, I inquired about a carotid test with his nurse. The nurse went out and returned with Dr. V who was condescending and unprofessional once he walked in the door. He didn’t ask why we were asking for testing. Instead, he proceeded to berate my mother and I stating he isn’t doing any test he don’t think she needs. He says, “I’m not doing Medicare fraud.” Then he continued saying “if you don’t eat fruit and vegetable daily, kick yourself!” “If you eat out of a can, kick yourself!” Then the icing on the cake was when he said “if you have belly fat, you are going to die a miserable death!” My mom is average size for a 70 year old. Both my mom and I were appalled by his manner of communication. Not once did he ask what symptoms she was having so he could go his actual job and help her!! So we switched doctors. The new doctor had her wear a halter and it turns out she needed a pacemaker!!

Dr Virk and his staff cares for his patients and is very good at what they do. I am one of the fortunate people that really doesn't have a heart problem, but thought I did. But my husband definately did, and he did triple bypass on him a couple of years ago. I thank God and him for saving my honey. I think Dr. Virk is a wonderful doctor, and his staff are kind and pleasant. I've never had problems making appointments, and they usually return calls on the same day you call them. I recommend him to everyone!

Rude staff lowers doctor's rating!

His kindness and caring gave me the sense that I was his most important patient when he is attending to you. The sparkle in his eyes as he speaks to you shows how much he loves his work. In a crisis during recovery because my body did not respond well, he stepped in and made the best decision to relieve my panic. He is my doctor forever - and I hope he can stay around long enough get me to 100+

This is an amazing doctor, we are blessed to be on his list of patients. He came in at 3:00a.m. to save my husbands life from a 99%blockage. He is an amazing doctor, great bedside manner, took time in the hospital room visits, to sit down and discuss with us everything we needed to know. His staff is equally amazing, everyone has a positive attitude and a helpful spirit. They all take time to talk to you, we highly recommend Dr. Virk and his team.

Dr. Virk is a excellent doctor! He did a triple by-pass on my husband after another cardiologist had said my husband would never have the surgery for various reasons. I prayed and feel that God led me to Dr. Virk and we are so thankful to have found Dr. Virk. Without him doing this surgery I more than likely would be a widow by now or very close to being one. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Virk.

I was referred to Dr. Virk by my cardiologist as the "best" interventional cardiologist for complex problems. Dr. Virk was able to open up a 100% blocked artery which I was previously told nothing more could be done. I now feel great. No chest pain. I got my life back. Thank you Dr. Virk
