Dr. Imtiazuddin M Siddiqui, MD

No stars would be more appropriate. Dr. Siddiqui treated my brother at a New Jersey psychiatric hospital recently. He never diagnosed my brother nor did a cognitive assessment but immediately put my brother in in the dementia wing and medicated him with three heavy psychiatric drugs. Only after repeated emails to the hospital's management and the formal examination and diagnoses by two other staff psychiatrists disagreeing with Dr. Siddiqui treatment was I able to get my brother off of the drugs and released from the hospitall. He is now lucid and recovering well.

I cannot understand how this doctor has return patients

I have been to more than a few psychiatrists. There are so many out there. Too bad there are not enough GOOD ones! Dr. Siddiqui is reserved at first. Give him a chance! He is compassionate, knows what he's doing, and heven has a sense of humor. I think he's great. I've been seeing him for about 7 years now

Dr Siddiqui is a great doctor who truely cares about his patients. He is very knowledgeable about psychiatric illnesses and medication. I have been seeing him for many years and he has always treated me with respect and shown me empathy. I don't know how anyone can say anything negative about this doctor. He is a very busy man. So what if he is late. Trust me, he is worth the wait. We need more brilliant doctors like Dr Siddiqui.

Horrible! Excessive wait times as the Dr is rarely on time. Patients are forced to wait in the hall outside the office. Never returns phone calls as i have been trying for weeks.

I left numerous messages for this doctor from from 10/6 - 10/10 regarding the care of my mother at Chilton Hospital. I was seeking information about the status of her care and his recommendation for future care. I was told that someone would call me back. Nobody ever called, not even from his office staff.

He's a quack. Doesn't know what he's doing and he continues to double doses of medications that you don't need, but won't prescribe you the ones you do need. Do not go to him he shouldn't have a license to do this

I have Bipolar and it was my first experience with medication and it really turned me off, which is not good for someone with my illness. They overmedicated and made me wait for every appointment for more than three hours. Now I have a doctor I'm really happy with who is the opposite.
