Dr. Inderpal Singh Sarkaria, MD

I had surgery for a paraesophageal hernia. My thorasic duct was cut, an artery was cut and I lay bleeding for 5 hours and was minutes from death when they called Dr Sarkaria who had gone home. I was then sliced completely open and after 3 weeks in the hospital for what should have been three days, I was sent home with an open oozing pus infection which required another hospitalization and a wound vac and months of packing to heal. Because of his incompetence I now have to wear an abdominal binder the rest of my life and am lucky to be alive. Since this I have had to have 2 more surgeries to repair subsequent problems from the initial surgery. I do not recommend anyone to have surgery from Dr. Inderpal Sarkaria.

Dr. Sarkaria saved my life. He removed my esophagus and acted on a team when I was undergoing chemo and radiation. He is easy to talk to and has a gentle, strong, reassuring manner.
