She is awesome doctor.

Horrible doctor. She is very rude. Talked about my personal business in the hallway. Called my symptoms crazy and threw her hands up and said it was nothing left she could do for me. Even mentioned slavery in my visit. Do not trust your health in her hands.

Small town breeds small minds. . Arrogant and talked too much about nothing. HORRENDOUSLY rude and incompetent staff. Patient portal never worked and they are small town that the only way to reach them is by phone and good luck with that too! They could care less about their patients needs. Look elsewhere for care.

Prior to visiting Dr. Gautam I researched MD in area- I went to see her based on her reviews- I really appreciated the amount of time she spent during our initial visit- after obtaining an complete history- including birthdays-anniversary- she proceeded to review five basic rules that she wanted me to follow for the next 90 Years- in her quest to "empower me with tools to add to my quality of life" I left the office empowered- motivated and cared for.

She put her best forward during the new patient exam and appeared to be somewhat engaged/interested in my medical history. However, she did most of the talking and when I spoke about my history, concerns and current medical condition, she seemed disconnected. She was more eager to give her seemingly stock new patient speech on water intake, fiber in the diet (even handing out a faded Fiber One 1-sheet), prayer/meditation and a couple of other points that I just don't recall - likely b/c they were as obvious - exercise & nutrition which are not issues for me. But what often seals the deal with these Doctors in LA, is the office staff whose communication skills are poor, they are inexperienced and eventually garden variety rude. I see potential in her as a Doctor if she stayed focused on the patient and trained her staff better. Don't forget: “Louisiana has the worst health care system in the country,” WalletHub, 2018. And it's getting worse.

Very thorough in the care of her patients. She does not rush ur visits. She ask questions, listens and explains and devise a plan for your overall health. She does more than provide care after an illness. She is proactive in your care. Very spiritual

I was so impressed with the time that Dr. Gautam spent with me explaining everything and her knowledge of everything. I am so grateful for her understanding and promptness to see that I had the proper tests done and her follow up in behalf of my ailments I shared with her. I feel very confident that she will get to the source and give me back my quality of life again.

I have known this lady for many years at her last three positions and she is superb. A great diagnostician and superb at charting the right course of treatment for the condition at the appropriate time.

She is the best doctor I have ever had. She really cares about her patients. She takes the time out to really talk to you and get to understand your symptoms and lifestyle. Dr. Guatam is highly recommended by me.

Dr.Gautam is very thorough and listens objectively to her patients' complaints. She is a very good teacher and always has the patient's best interest in mind, especially conscious of prescription costs.
