This practice is terrific. The doctor and staff will give you a great and wonderful experience Dr. Mikiel will explain everything to you and will also educate you. She is very professional and straightforward.

We have been seeing Dr Mikiel for about a year now and wouldn't trade doctors for anything. She is genuinely interested in what you have to say and is always open to what you want to do for your medical treatment. She is there to guide you and recommend treatment. If she feels strongly that something needs to change she will sit and talk to you as long as you need her to explaining the pros and cons of what she had in mind. I have never had a doctor include me in my treatment the way she does. She is a breath of fresh air where doctors are concerned. Thank you Dr. Mikiel for making our medical treatment personal and inclusive. You are a gem.

At my 18 year-old daughter's request, I went with her to this appointment with her new doctor (her insurance is changing). When my daughter looked to me to fill in a question about medical history, I was interrupted and told to not speak. Dr. Mikiel did not "care what I thought (I) was not her patient." In an attempt to "bond" with a young adult, you were unkind to her support system. This is not professionalism. I explained to my daughter that perhaps you were attempting to encourage her to advocate for herself more in her medical care, while lacking some important social skills. Her response was, "that would be fine, but hatefulness is lazy and ineffectual. There were so many better ways to communicate that point. At least she has illustrated to me how not to treat my future patients. As an adult I will be finding other medical care." Although I believe this to be indicative of the current climate in which we allow people to treat each other as if they are of no value, my… family is called to a higher standard. I thank Dr. Mikiel in the sense that her display of poor behavior gave my beautiful, intelligent and loving daughter the chance to display her excellent behavior and character.

Dr. Mikiel is one of the most caring and kind doctor that I have met. She has patient, and is very concerned about your health.I changed doctors and I'm so happy with Dr. Mikiel.

Dr. Mikiel is warm and caring, while she gives no nonsense medical advice. I never felt like she was talking down to me, she treated me like an adult and I felt as though I could tell her anything. She took into consideration my desire for Exploring natural remedies before resorting to pharmaceuticals. My approach, of course did not work, but she gave me the consideration and that’s the important thing. She does seem to have a low tolerance for nonsense but I found that incredibly refreshing
