Dr. Indira C Misra - Higgins, DO

I have been a current patient with Dr. MIsra-Higgins for over 10 years. I developed a rash or possibly hives with itching two days prior all over my face. Since the rash and itching had not cleared, I called at 1 p.m. two days ago to schedule a zoom or FaceTime appointment with the physician. I was informed by her staff that she would be able to have a call with me within the hour as she only had 2 patients left to see that day. At 4:30 p.m. I still had not heard from her. I called and left a message on the voicemail of the office, which clearly informed me that the office was now closed. I did not hear the next day from the office or Dr. MIsra-Higgins. Long story short, she did not follow up. I am not a new patient that should need to wait days to see the physician or should basically be ignored for an issue. I would not recommend this Dermatologist simply based on service. This is not the first time, this has occurred in the last ten years. Both my spouse and I are… medical practitioners and know very well the significance of good service, whether it is from the staff or physician. Poor service in any environment comes form the top.
