Dr. Indra Austra Kancitis, MD

I have been bringing my children to this practice for 20 plus years. I was there when Dr. Kancitis started there. My children have seen her many times, even though she’s not their primary, she has treated them all before. But my last visit with her was the worst. My son waited over an hour in the room for her to come, which is not unusual for this practice. That wasn’t a big deal because it’s what I expected, but what I didn’t expect was for her to walk in the room being rude to my son. I understand it may have been the end of the day and she was running behind, but there’s no reason to treat us like it was our fault. She talked to me as if I was slow, asking me if I understood things that anyone with common sense would understand. I felt like she attacked me and made me seem like a bad parent because of the issue that we were there for with my son. She was snarky, and when she asked me a question, she rushed me through the answer by saying okay every other second. Worst visit ever.… She talked about my son like he wasn’t even in the room at some points. Same things about him that bothered him. I don’t appreciate her treatment of my son or myself at this last visit and I will be sure to never schedule any of my children with her again.
