Review for Dr. Indra Prasad Reddy Peram, MD - Winter Haven Hospital BayCare I recently had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Indra Prasad Reddy Peram during my stay at Winter Haven Hospital. As a long-term quadriplegic with a stage four pressure sore, I was admitted for treatment, relying on my previous positive experiences at the hospital. Unfortunately, this visit was far from satisfactory. Despite my clear medical history and the guidance from a neurologist regarding necessary medication to manage my severe spasms, Dr. Peram refused to provide the prescribed treatment. His dismissive attitude and lack of concern for my well-being were disheartening. I felt like I was not being heard or respected, which is crucial in a healthcare setting, especially for someone in my condition. Over my 24 years as a quadriplegic, I’ve encountered numerous doctors and treatments, and I can confidently say that Dr. Peram is the worst I have experienced. His behavior was not only rude but also… showed a lack of empathy that is essential in any medical professional. It felt as if he prioritized his own interests over the health and comfort of his patients, undermining the very essence of the Hippocratic Oath. Instead, Is guiding principle is CYA. If you find yourself at Winter Haven Hospital and are assigned to Dr. Peram, I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere. Your health deserves a doctor who listens and acts in your best interest.
