Dr. Ingrid Maria Feder, MD

I had an appointment yesterday scheduled for 4:30pm, I sat in her waiting room for an hour just for her to kick me out of her office. When I got there, there was only one patient in front of me, I did all my pre-vitals, I did my eye test and I provided my urine sample as requested. 45min later, I asked the receptionist how much longer does she think it will be until I was seen. She then told me it should be no longer than 5min, that she just had to make a couple calls. 15min later I was still not seen. I became agitated as both the doctor and the receptionist talked back and forth with each other, cracking jokes and talking about life. I then spoke with the receptionist and asked how is it that I am still not seen but the doctor is in the back cracking sodas. The doctor over heard my conversation, and proceeded to tell the receptionist if he’s gonna be rude he can leave. I asked the receptionist what did I say that was rude? The doctor again, intervened in our conversation and said “I… don’t have time for this today, he can go I’m not seeing him today.” I got up out my seat and walked into the doctors eye sight after not even speaking with her for the last hour and asked her what did I say that was rude? She says your comments about the soda was rude and unnecessary. I told her nothing I said was rude, it was the truth.. and that she showed no urgency in seeing me. That was my experience at this so called “professional office”. This doctor is nothing short of selfish, inconsiderate and unprofessional.

I went to Dr Feder on the advise of a friend and it was the best decision I’ve made. Dr Feder practices old fashioned medicine and listens to her patients to really get to know them. Yes, often she runs behind but this is because she gives each patient the time they need. I’d much rather wait, have all issues examined than be tossed out after 8 minutes with a doctor who then uses the 7 minutes left of your appt to do paperwork. Dr Feder gets to know her patients and listens to them. I was so happy with the care I receive from her, I switched my 18year old daughter to her because her pediatrician had retired and the replacement just didn’t make either of us comfortable. So knowledgeable and caring, I’m finally happy with my doctor again and my daughter has a doctor she will talk to. Great care!

I have been a patient of Dr. Feder for over two years and she is hands down the best doctor I have ever had. She is a kind, empathetic, capable, and perceptive doctor that goes above and beyond for every person under her care. She is one of the only physicians in the area who cares for each person that comes to her for medical care, no matter what their insurance or financial situation is. My experience with her extraordinary staff has been exemplary every time, without fail. The atmosphere is friendly, calming, and welcoming. The nurse and medical assistant always have smiles on their faces and help patients in any way they can. The location is extremely convenient as well; it is directly across from Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, with handicap access for elderly individuals and those with disabilities. I cannot recommend Dr. Feder highly enough. Switching over to her is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Love the new location. The staff is so kind and the atmosphere is light/comfortable. I see why she left her old location. Regardless I’ll follow Dr. Feder, because she’s the best doctor I’ve ever had.

My doctor retired and upon recommendation scheduled appt with Dr. Feder, staff mailed new patient paperwork and appt card to me. Showed up at appt and found office closed with no courtesy call to reschedule, answering service said Dr was out of the country??? Called next day to scheduled 2nd new patient appt and staff was RUDE and claimed I didn't have appt which is confusing because they sent me the appt card. She couldn't fine when my appt was suppose to be so we scheduled again. Today, 30 mins before 2nd new patient appt I received a text saying "office closed DO NOT call general phone #, we will get back to you". Called anyway and same staff was RUDE AGAIN when I tried to voice my frustration with scheduling. I decided this office would most definitely be a good doctor patient relationship. I understand thing come up for everyone but STASTICALLY my first 2 scheduled appts OFFICE CLOSES expectantly??? How many times does this happen. Our time is just as valuable as a… doctors. Most doctors charge for NO SHOWS and late show ups. Shouldn't this doctor pay me for NO SHOW and LATE CANCEL?????

I had to wait awhile but she spends a lot of time with her patients and goes over everything thoroughly as opposed to many doctors who nowadays try to rush you out in 10 minutes with a prescription. Very good care. I would recommend!
