Dr. Ingrid Delcarmen Grafals, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Grafals for 18 years. I haven't had the need to see her in a few years. The staff has changed now and unfortunately are very rude and disrespectful.

I don't know how she passed med school. She is completely incapable of making a diagnosis at all, let alone an accurate diagnosis. Also, began to see her because she was female, but she is even more arrogant and dismissive than the male PCPs I have had in the past. Don't waste your time here.

I've been seeing Dr. Grafals for about 7 years. I guess she reads her own reviews because she and her office staff have improved a lot in terms of courtesy and bedside manner since I first started going there. Nowadays she always seems happy to see you and is willing to answer questions during appointments, and I've never had any complaints about the care.

Dr Grafals is an excellent physician. she is smart, attentive, and spends as much time as you need to go over questions and concerns. Her office manager is horrible-rude, late, poor phone skills and even poorer people skills. I am one of several patients with this complaint. If she is replaced, I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Grafals has been terrific. My first appt. as a new patient was ff. hospitalization after a disaster with a clueless walk-in clinic. I had an appt. within a couple days of calling. Amazing! While in the examining room she phoned the hospital to talk directly re.diagnosis & treatment. On a routine physical, when she suspected a problem, sent me for an ultrasound, set up the specialist appointment & gave a follow-up call to discuss my other lab results & on a Friday night called on another matter to ease my mind so I wouldn't spend a weekend in needless worry. There is a wait for appointments for annual physicals, but for other matters, the staff finds a way to fit me fairly soon,

It is not possible to speak with her on the phone even if you had come to the office the same week and for the same medical problem. She just would not take phone calls. Left messages with staff for her and never got my mesages returned. She will also send you to specialists without explanations even if you call and inist in an answer. Nowadays patients want to participate in their own care not just told what to do. It seems her staff is forgetful.

I had a physical appointment not too long ago with Dr. Grafals aroun 9 am. I got there ten minutes early, and was the only one in the waiting room. No secretary in sight, but when she finally came out she was very flustered, and looked confused about what she had to do. I filled out my paper work and sat. I waited 45 minutes before the secretary (who had disappeared) came out, not to tell me that she was sorry for the wait, but to stare at me as if I had done something wrong. She gave a fake smile when I asked what's going on...didn't get an answer. I finally saw Dr. Grafals at 10:15. (I was still the only person in the office all that time.) Grafals did the normal physical appointment thing (said sorry for the HOUR wait). But before I even stepped foot on the scale, she looked me up and down and said, "Are you on a diet? You should lose ten pounds." Very unprofessional. AND I had lost 15 pounds since my last visit (I'm 5'5", 145 pounds, very muscular) Then she goes into telling me how… I should eat, and to stay away from carbs (I'm a runner...). I was very displeased and insulted and annoyed that she could be so rude. I will not be back to see her; I am changing doctors.

I have called 5 times today to get an appointment to no avail. It says hours of operation are from 9 to around 4 with lunch break from noon to 1:30. Each time I called was after 1:30 and finally just now on the 6th try I got through.

i love this doctor she absolutely the best doctor i ever had!!!!

Excellent diagnostician. Caring manner.Thorough. Good follow-up.Highly recommend.
