Dr. Ingrid Lintmaer Olaru, MD

Dr. Olaru took over from my previous primary care doctor who retired. The first time I met her I thought she was rude but I thought she deserved a chance not based on a first impression. After 2-3 years she definitely had her own agenda, did not listen to me and I think she was insecure and intimidated by me. I have a medical background. When she told me what my new plan of care was I asked her about an alternative plan. With no discussion, by certified mail she let me know she would no longer treat me and blacklisted me from the rest of the group practice. I felt this was highly unprofessional behavior over what was in essence a personality conflict. This was her first experience as a primary care physician and I expected her to give me the same courtesy I gave her. She has a very poor "bedside manner" and was not a good doctor. I would never recommend her to anyone else.
