Dr. Inna K Kigel, DO

She is a outstanding wonderful caring doctor. She is kind, gentle caring, sharp, Soo much experience under her belt. I am always impressed with her ease with giving that extra time with me. I only regret meeting her so late in my life. I trust her.

I read reviews of her and was in need of a new PCP so I thought I'd give her a try. When I called for an appointment they asked what insurance I had and they gave me an appointment. When I go a week later they told me they did not take my insurance It would have been nice it they would have told me that when I called for an appointment. So I wasted time going there when they could have told me that over the phone.

An excellent Dr. Would highly recommend her.

this doctor is just absolutly the nicessest doctor ive ever been to. She takes all the time she needs to explain everything you ask her. she makes me feel so much better when i understand everything. i recommand her to everyone. she calls me after my visit to follow up on how im doing and if i need any additional help. shes just the best !

I have found Dr. Kigel to very nice and very interested in health problem. She was very attentive to my questions and spend far more time with me than any doctor has ever,I front office staff are not very friendly and her office manager which I am told is her husband is rough and not personable. He seems to talk like a military officer when it's not required or needed.Dr. Kigel is very caring and a very nice person and she has been my doctor for the last year and is just a pleasure to discuss my issues with.

I really like Dr. Kigel better than most others I've dealt with.Dr. Kigel is the first D.O. I'd ever dealt with. I decided to try a D.O. for the first time after getting sick and tired of doctors who too commonly were rushed and arrogant. I had hoped that switching from an MD (Allopathic) to an OD (Osteopathic) might reduce the arrogance, and it has worked out that way for me. I picked Dr. Kigel as my primary care physician a little over a year ago and have been very happy with my choice.Over the years I had gotten out of shape: weight; blood pressure; cholesterol, etc. I've occasionally tried to ask my docs for advice on how to deal with it. Too many other doctors want to dispense useless platitudes. Doc: "You should lose weight" Me: "How" Doc: "Eat Less" Me: "But I'm still hungry." Doc: "Just exercise more self-discipline."Hmm... Wow! What a profound insight! I'd never thought of that!?!?Dispensing platitudes like that has contributed to an obesity… epidemic.Instead, something Dr. Kigel suggested was when eating sweets/desserts, use a baby/childrens sized spoon simply to slow down the rate of eating in order to allow for the time delay difference between food is consumed and the body starts to get a feeling of being full. That was the first time any Dr. had taken the time to ask me about factors contributing to my eating habits and then take time to explain a mechanism by which I could regain control. Whether this particular suggestion is the most important one is not the point. This doctor could have done like all the others and dispensed platitudes, since that is more expedient than taking the time to talk with the patient and figure out advice that would be relevant and usable for me. There have also been other steps she has also had me take to better manage my health. Sometimes the rate of progress has been so slow that I'm not sure if I'm still moving forward. But, for what it's worth, so far over the past year, I've lost 40 LBS, 4 inches off my waist, and 20 points off my blood pressure. I'm sure that many other doctors know the advice Dr. Kigel knows, but they could not be bothered to take the time to explain it.
