Dr. Ira Douglas Chatman

Saw him for almost two years, only because there was nobody else. I have been diagnosed with intractable pain by my orthopedic spine surgeon and two neurosurgeons. He never examined me and claimed my surgeon never sent my records although my surgeon's office sent them twice to him and once to me. He called me a doctor-shopper, drug-abuser and other names I can't post publicly. I could write a book about this guy but for now I'll just refer you to the other one-star reviews. They are spot-on with my experience. As a patient and former critical care nurse (disabled/retired), I cannot understand how this man was granted a medical degree! As an aside, I would recommend that you get your medical records from this office and check your insurance or Medicare EOBs to verify your co-pays. Best of luck to you all.

This doctor had good knowledge on my rare disease. He listened, was respectful and compassionate. He actually wants to help me not just make money. I was treated like a individual not a number. I am feeling so blessed!

Dr. Chatman is a wonderful doctor, and has been helping me successfully manage my pain issues. He's thoughtful, friendly, and truly cares about his patient's experience. I can't recommend him more highly.

Dr Chatman got me through a fractured sacrum last year. I healed without surgery. I have a chronic pain condition in my lower back (long before fracture) and his treatments help me tremendously. He is very learned, and top notch in his field. I highly fecommend he and his wonderful staff.

After making the horrible mistake of having back surgery at the butcher's, aka the VA & having spinal nerves damaged, Dr. Chatman has treated me with the utmost care and respect. He's been very thorough discussing treatment options with me. Together, we've got my pain to a level where I can function in life. I would highly recommend him!

Doesn't treat you like a human, unwilling to discuss my problem, takes too long between tests. Appointments hard to get. Tells you to suck it up regarding pain and gives pills enough for two weeks then gives a prescription you can get filled in another week, but says you are not allowed to take any other meds in the mean time.

I was nervous going in cause I didn't want to be treated like a pill seeking criminal but after the staff and dr chatman was done I was at ease and more informed about my problem. Good group of professionals

Above excellent.Dr. Chatman is dedicated to finding and treating your issue accurately. He and his staff are top notch professionals. You will not find a better doctor in my opinion.I trust him completely.

After a year of horrible pain aggravated by a fall I was referred to Dr. Chatman. I've been seeing him for a year and a half now. I am very comfortable with him and his staff. He is unbeatable in my opinion.
