Dr. Ira J Murphy, MD

Terrible bed side manner. Dr Murphy was the on call and performed my c section. She thought I was asleep and lied to a dr that came into assist about my behavior when hospitalized for bed rest. When someone entered to tell her about my Childs 2nd apgar score she said oh good I was worried about a lawsuit. I never said anything out of fear for my child who was in the NICU. While bad mouthing me she asked for the other dr to help her control the bleeding. The next day she told me I shouldn’t have any more children because it may cause my uterus to rupture. All very cold and poor bedside manner.

I showed up for an appointment at 1:30pm and was told at 4pm after waiting in my car that I wouldn’t be seen even after letting them know I had been in a finder binder on my way to the appointment. Two weeks later I call with the issue of throwing up a bit of blood and Murphy has taken a vacation for tweets and the other dr. On site refused to see me and my unborn baby. Ask for appointment as your own risk.

I had a confirmed appointment with massive baginal bleeding. I waited in the office waiting room and was told that Dr. Murphy had a massive migraine headache and must reschedule. I asked if any other physician could see me and was advised that according to the rules of Driscoll that no other doctor would be able to see me. I am very disappointed and will report this to my medical insurance and will certainly file a medical law suit if I have any further complications.
