After the visit I was a bit confused. I went to see him about my pain, but he made me feel as if I was inconveniencing him and doing something wrong. Having met Dr Sarno 20 years ago, I expected similar style from dr Rashbaum. Dr Sarno sat and listened to me and we talked for an hour. He looked at my images, we talked about my life circumstances surrounding my pain and he also examined me. Dr Rashbaum was more interested in my dictating a report into his lapto which took some time as I had to wait for him to type . He had no interest in discussing anything about what was going on in my life and gave me a lukewarm “diagnosis.” I was very disappointed and now feel the need to seek out another physician familiar with TMS.
