Dr. Ira Charles Robinson II, MD

Dr. Robinson is the best doctor ever! He is not only very experienced and knowledgeable but he is very personable and patient. I never feel rushed during my visits. This is why he has been rated as one of the top providers at Piedmont Henry and in Piedmont Health Care system in the recent Atlanta Magazine.

I have been treated by Jessica during all of my visits; she is caring, helpful and treats me well. As for Dr. Robinson, I have only seen him twice during the years I have been going there; he doesn't even know me. I do have concerns about him for the manner in which he runs his practice and his inaccessible, insensitive office staff. First of all, the office is closed daily for lunch instead of staggering lunch breaks, and it is closed at noon on Fridays. That makes it difficult to communicate with them. Second, whoever is in charge of having prescriptions refilled allows them to run out, despite receiving calls from my pharmacy. That includes essential blood pressure medicine that can cause health problems if not taking on a consistent basis. I am 73 years old. My current problem with them is inexcusable. I have hot, burning, debilitating nerve pain in my foot that radiates upward in my leg up to my thigh. I can hardly walk or sleep at night. I made an appointment with a… doctor last Thursday for surgery to relieve the pain. He gave me a pre-authorization form that must signed by my primary care doctor before I can have the surgery. I called the office all day last Friday and never got an answer, nor was there a message saying that the office was closed. I called back on Monday and was told to fax the form to the office. I attempted that twice and my fax report said 'no answer.' I called again and was told that I needed an appointment, but I was not given one. I called back on Tuesday and was told that by the person who answered that she would ask Jessica to give me an appointment and she would call me back. She did not. I called back today and finally got an appointment for tomorrow. Not one person that I spoke with seemed to care that I am in pain and that they were preventing me from getting the care I need. This, from a doctor. None of my other doctors or their staffs treat me this way.

I have been patient of Dr. Robinson's for five and one-half years. He is an excellent physician who really cares about his patients. He is not only patient but he is extremely knowledgeable. I have made several referrals and they have all been very satisfied with the care they are receiving.

Dr. Robinson and his staff were amazing. They were quick and efficient. I felt like an adopted member of their family when. Highly recommend!

Love, Love, Love Dr. Robinson. He gets to know his patients and cares about them. He is very knowledgeable on medication interactions and works to find out the true issues.

Very very rude receptionist "Charlie" later I found out that she's the daughter of Kelly the office manager. Kelly has a racist ora about herself, I over heard her speaking about someone on Facebook. I got curious and looked up the person and I contacted the person and told her how I over heard Kelly and Charlie speaking very rude about her. She was also a patient. This office has changed the ladies in the back seem unhappy and maybe on their way out soon "good for them if that's the case". I've seen so many nurses or aide come and go so nothing surprises me. Dr. Robinson is a very good physician but that office manager will be the death of that place. Good luck future patient!

They don't return calls and there is NEVER a dr on call. Even when they're closed for a week. They tell patients to go to the hospital! Dr never available so they push the PA on patients and the turnover on the PA is bad.

Dr. Robinson is compassionate, knowledgeable, and attentive. I have been his patient for 22 months and he is the best internist I've ever had. I recently visited his office and I am very impressed with his friendly and courteous office staff.
