Dr. Ira Lawrence Rosenshein, MD

I'm not a pt but I made a referral to him and he was very rude and arrogant, condescending and verbally aggressive. along with his staff.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a psychiatrist in my life. It only took one office visit to know to stay away. Very bad for patients. Aggressive angry behavior. Beware.

I made an appointment 2 months ago. They decided to call and cancel my monday appointment. Then i asked when they can get me in next. She said December. Im on bipolar and depression and anxiety medications i cant wait another two month's. Rediculous that they can just do this to me. I dont recommended this office.

Dr. seems to have a good reputation in the area, but I had problems. Had trouble finding the office and was a few minutes late and Dr. seemed very upset and this seemed to carry over into the appointment. Was oddly aggressive and unfriendly. Example, when I explained pre-existing diagnoses told me he did not care about others diagnoses and that he made his own. During questioning I explained about a pre-existing medical condition complicating medications and he cut me off saying he was not interested. "This is my office and my world and I will run things."

Dr. Rosenshein is one of the very best doctors in the country. He transformed me into a swan. Previous I was a basketcase, an ugly duckling. I used to be depressed all the time. No doctor was able to help me. I could barely put my clothes on and get out of the house. His expertise at medicine is miraculous. And his "bedside manner" is just fantastic. He is a very popular doctor. He seems to help everybody who comes to see him. I became a different person under his care.I would have been President of the USA at the rate I was going but unfortunately he left private practice. I had read for years that people can be helped by psychiatry but I searched for 20 years and saw many other doctors but none could ever help me until I saw Rosenshein. For the first time since I was a teenager I became able to function and I am now in my fifties. I could write a book in detail about the many many ways Dr. Rosenshein helped me but I can only say here that if he could help me,… then he could help anybody because I saw about 70 odd doctors including some nationally famous ones and no one could help me until I saw Rosenshein. dr. rosenshein had a great patient/doctor relationship. many patients depended on him. he left his practice at the begining of 2008 and left people searching for a new dr. that many could not find to rate anywhere near him, which in the long run left a lot of patients with another truama in their lives. the lost of a trusted person. maybe he will return. and maybe he will continue to see more patient after closing his practice than just a chosen few.
