He attended medical school at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH. After graduating in 1980, he completed four externships with Michael Litman, DPM, Lawndale Hospital, Podiatry Hospital of Pittsburg, and Oxford Hospital. He later completed a preceptorship with Marvic Z. Arnold, DPM and a one-year residency at Cleveland Foot Clinic. Dr. Silverman is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and has hospital affiliations with Memorial Hospital of Burlington County, Surgical Center of Buck County, Lourdes Hospital, and Riverside Hospital. Dr. Silverman has been published in the journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, with the article, “Three Neuromas of One Foot.”
