Dr. Ira Michael Stein, MD

We were referred to Dr. Stein during a recent ER visit for my son. My son had a constant ear infection(s) for 6 weeks and didn't respond to any of the 4 oral antibiotics we tried or the muscular shot Rocephin. When the ER doc called Dr. Stein he said to let us know that he wanted to see our son and would make room in his schedule the next business day. I have never seen a doc more proactive or responsive. We saw Dr. Stein that Monday am and were blown away by his bedside manner, ability and time to explain to us the situation and his caring and attentive staff. We were scheduled to go to surgery 48 hours later. Dr. Stein has such a great way with kids and parents and took such great care of our son. We are so greatful to have been referred to him and since our son's surgery we have heard SO many docs and nurses that have raved about him and his staff... one of a kind, and the absolute best.

Dr. Stein and his staff are terrific. They were very thorough and he spent a great deal of time reviewing our son's CT scans, getting family history, and reviewing his case. The Dr. went out of his way and even provided a personal cell phone for us to keep him up to date if there were any issues or concerns. Our son did not need surgery and is doing great, thanks to Dr. Stein. My Wife and I highly recommend!

The wait section in Palm West Hospital is awesome for kids. It has plenty of stuff to play with. My son didn't want to leave the office after the visit. I think it helped him to get relaxed and went with better attitude to the visit. We went for diagnosis and the Doctor was accurate and patient to explain everything we ask for. Fortunately we didn't need any intervention, but I would feel confortable doing it there if necessary. the staff was very experienced and diligent too.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Stein! My Daughter had chronic sickness and needed her tonsils and adnoids removed. The first Dr we went to made us feel rushed so we went to Dr Stein for a second opinion and he agreed surgery was needed. He is patient, extreamly knowledgable, took his time explaining EVERYTHING! I was very comfortable putting my daughter's surgery in his hands! The first thing he does when he walks in the room is builds a relationship with my 3 year old daughter ,who is very shy, so she felt comfortable with him! He makes every effort to keep your kid happy as well as healthy! Post surgery he gave us his personal cell number to call if we needed anything! Five days after surgery he contacted us to get an update! Being a mom you want you kid in the best care possible during surgery and Dr Stein blew my expectations away!

I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Stein. My son had to have extensive sinus surgery which included: removing his tonsils, abnoids, deviated septum, removing a bone spur in his septum, balloon his sinuses and where his nose fused inside (from previous nose surgery) they will cut open and put stents up both sides of his nose. After having an issues with Dr. David Brodner (different medical practice) not showing up for surgery Dr. Stein stepped up an completed his surgery. Not only is Dr. Stein's compassion for his patients wonderful but his surgical skills are awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Stein and if I could give him more stars I would because he is that great!

I would absolutely see dr stein time and time again. In fact, I wish I could bring my son to him for any and all ailments and check up. Fantastic bedside manner and excellent care.

My 4 year old was getting infection after infection. I was at the pediatrician every month. She recommend I have her tonsils and adenoids removed. She even had sleep apnea. Her tonsils were so large that you couldn't see in the back of her throat. Dr. Stein did her surgery. Explained everything and even took calls for my questions. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. My daughter enjoyed going to see him.

I loved going to Dr. Stein's office today, everyone was great, he made the diagnose of my son's problem and my son is going under surgery in August,it was all so fast,easy and so well explained.

He and his team at the surgicenter were wonderful to my 2 year old son who had his tonsils and adenoids removed. Dr. Stein was very sweet and playful putting my son at ease. After the surgery he and his staff were very attentive and mAde this whole nightmare of my child requiring surgery much much less stressful and traumatic. We highly recommend Dr Stein!

Dr Stein has a bedside manner and way with young children second to none! My son needed ear tubes and needed his adenoids removed. Dr. Stein made us comfortable with his knowledge and followed up well after the procedure. He is a skilled surgeon who makes the family feel as though they are a priority. That's hard to find with doctors today! I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone!
