Dr. Ira David Zunin II, MD

Dr. Zunin was the only doctor I could find that accepted Tricare. I must've called around 50 doctors and the staff sounded "turned off" like I was on welfare. So that was a plus. Nice location. I usually find street parking on King St. Nice office and friendly staff. My first visit, Dr. Zunin was very nice. However, the next visits seemed like he was "going through the motions". He didn't take the time to read my results before hand and had to ask me questions again about my status and why I was taking blood tests, etc. I don't even think he remembered my name. It seemed like Dr. Zunin was more interested on me signing up for services within his clinic. But, I thought I was over-reacting and gave him another chance. The next appointment, I met with another person, his PA and wasn't informed before hand that I wasn't meeting with him. So, talking to his PA was a totally different experience which is what I has hoping for. She took the time to read my chart and actually… seem concerned and gave me options vs. just do this and that like Dr. Zunin.

Dr. Zunin has saved my life. Thanks him and his wonderful staff i have had a better quality of life. Its hard to find a doctor that you can trust. And know that he is there just for you. I count myself one of the lucky ones to have found a wonderful and hard working doctor. if he dies not have the answer he always works hard to find the solution or send me to the doctors that may have a solution. I am grateful he now treats my whole family. My mom and brother as well as his wife are all part of the manakai o malama family.!!!

As an older patient, alot of Docs are always in a rush but Dr. Zunin took time to help with my pain. The PT staff is the best

Many services under one roof, the doctor will make you feel obligated to, or tell you to go to Occupational therapy, Pys. Therapy, psychologist, chiropractor, acupuncture multiple times a week and assume you dont have a life besides going to his office. Very rude bedside manner like he is better than everyone and must have became a DR. due to the fact everyone is coming to you for help and he must feed of this in some sick way... I have been going here for just about two years after leaving Workstar and i wish i had never left.

Dr Zunin is rude and does not truly listen to his patients. He is not an "alternative" type of doctor like he tries to get everyone to believe. He tries to push prescription meds as much as other Dr's. He also treats you as if you're an idiot or a child by cutting you off when you're talking, talking over you and down to you, and he has even gotten loud as if to yell at me. You can tell that even his front desk staff is scared of him yelling at them or making them feel stupid because they look so nervous every time he walks near the front desk. Also, you will wait about AN HOUR or longer just to be seen for this "service" that he provides. I think when he started his practice originally, he might've had good intentions, but now he crams way too many appointments in one day, makes you wait for an hour or more just so you can see him for 5 min (not even the 15 min you're supposed to be allotted) and seems like a very angry man while you're there. Don't question anything he says or thinks… because he will flip out on you. I've NEVER had a Dr. treat me the way he does and therefore I can't recommend him to anyone...not even my worst enemy. I hope he sees this one day so he will maybe take a step back to look at himself and what he's doing to his practice. Also, he may want to take a class on empathy and anger management.

Arrogant and pushy. Hands you off to his minions to push you to buy expensive needless supplements. Reminded me of a quack chiropractor I once saw. Many other better docs. Avoid this one.
