Dr. Iraj Derakhshan

My ex husband is a patient before Dr derakhshan started treating him for ms he could barely walk couldn't enjoy every day activities with his daughters. Dr derakhshan gave him his life back he prescribed his chronic pain med with specific instructions on how to take them.that's all any Dr can do his office keeps records he treats patients according to their disease. The only this Dr has to apologize for is caring about his patients. If someone's family member was putting a needle in their arm they didn't learn that from Dr d they were not taking medication as prescribed. Street drugs are everywhere it's not you Dr fault it's yours and the company you keep. Instead of crucifing a great Dr why don't you focus on the heroine problem at hand and offer some kind of free rehabilitation programs instead of suboxine Dr's that won't except insurance they say it's a cash only program let's investigate that issue. Taking an excellent Dr credentials away is not how you fight a war… against drugs.

Was rude and told me i dident have a disease that it was in my head, after ive seen a genectic doctor in Morgantown wv at Ruby memorial Hospitol who diagnosed me with Auto Sominal Domient Alzheimers his a quack and reckless and rude.. Advise nobody to ever go to his office. Good thing there tryin take his license in stare Wv cause he dont need or deserve to every be able to practise again in any state.

I have been seeing him for 2 years he has changed my life since I been seeing before I couldn't get out of bed with my pain now I can thank you Dr d.

Dr Derakhshan is the only doctor I have seen that recognized and had the compassion to make an effort to ease my chronic pain. I have been diagnosed with Lupus, Fibromyalgia, degenerative disc diseases, chondromalasia, rheumatoid arthritis, spinal stenosis, herniated discs L1-L2, L2-L3, L4-L5 that are inoperable, migraines, sacroiliac displacement, iron deficiency, depression and anxiety, PTSD from child and spousal abuse. Derakhshan is the only doctor that cared enough to prescribe me meds that lower my pain level enough to actually get out of bed, do housework, play with my grandbabies, go out with my fiancée, and be a part of society again instead of a lump in bed. God bless you sir and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!

This doc is the best,he listens really listens to what you say.Then you might get a crazy question such as start at rising in the morning and continue to review your day until bedtime.He picks up on the things most dr .s could care less about.a true blessing to the medical field.

Dr derkshaun has completely made my life better I suffer extremely bad migraines for 7 years I got a referral to see him and before I was getting a migraine everyday now it's 2 a month before I would lay in bed with a pillow over my eyes and couldn't get up out of bed for a days thanks to him now I can can have a normal life with my children and fiance I highly recommend him he's a excellent neurologist

I still Will see him I think he's a great doctor been going to him since 2004 they need to get off his back an let him do the great job that he does! An go focus on some of these qwacks that don't have a clue about what's going on !!!!

I have been with this doctor over 13 years he is very good he helps people if he can so please get off his back and let him be the doctor for his patients

DR.D is the greatest,he always listens closely to everything I have to say.When I first started going there he pulled up a chair and explained the whole metabolism to me and why loosing the weight would help keep me living a better quality of life.With encouragement I lost 30 pounds without diet pills and have kept it off.I had never had another dr.ever mention my weight before even though at times i went over 200 lbs . I realize there is a drug problem in West Virginia but its just not fair to fight the war on herion at Dr.s offices.This man really helps and cares about people.As i sit here writing this my hip is raging in pain but that does not matter to the WV Board of Medicine or the Dea.There is no way I can return to work in this shape so i just changed my summer leave to my resignation.[thanks dea,wv board of medicine]Thank -You Dr. Derakshaun for the years you kept me working,enjoying my family.I will always be grateful.

The Dr. Was referred to me by my retiring Neurologist. It took a while to get used to his mannerisms, but we found a neutral ground. I have migrains, and he suggested something different each time I visited, and I did give it a try. Finally he agreed to continue the med's my former Dr prescribed, which kept me out of the ER. His staff is not friendly or helpful in getting our Rx's on time. But after 15 yrs., I'm very happy with the Dr. I'm sorry he's in a bit of trouble which puts me at a point that I can't get my med's, and I'm sure without them, I'll be heading back to the ER. My age is 64, and I'm not an addict, I've suffered with migrains since I was 16, inherited from my Mom.
