Dr. Iram Aleem Ahmed, MD

Iram Ahmed is by far the worst doctor I have encountered. My relative is severely unwell and hospitalized and under her care. However, she is never available to meet with the patient or the patient's family. In fact, she gives few instructions and very little information to her nurse to be able to guide us as the family of patient. Ahmed lacks professionalism, common understanding of how to interact with people, she lacks empathy on every front and she speaks extremely ignorantly. Ahmed is careless, and does a terrible job at truly looking into the root of the problem. In fact, she does not even give it an attempt and instead grazes over major medical problems presenting in the patient more immediately and seriously. It is quite infuriating having to deal with Iram and I wish nobody else has to encounter her as their physician. It is a disservice to the medical field that she practices, and she is far more unhelpful than helpful. It takes a lot out of me to leave a review as such. I've… had to resort to this because it would be morally incorrect to not, at the very least, voice my concerns for anyone else who might have to encounter her.

If I could give this Doctor a rating of negative five stars that is what would be deserved. I am a patient with a 40 year history of bladder infections. I had just had pelvic surgery and about 8 weeks later I developed the well known symptoms of a bladder infection. I made an appointment and when I explained my situation to her she completely dismissed my chief complaint and insisted that I had an over-active bladder. I had to beg them to take a sample for urinalysis. The Doctor gave me some samples of Myrbetriq and told me to take those instead. No antibiotic was prescribed (even though I asked). Two days later I was rushed to the ER. The infection had migrated from my bladder to my kidneys. I was given IV Rocephin (a powerful antibiotic). The ER doctor told me the Myrbetriq made my situation worse. Sooo this incompetent doctor received free samples from a drug representative and decided to give me that instead of what was clearly called for. 10 (TEN) days after my… appointment at her office I get a call from Walgreens that a prescription was ready. I called and asked what it was. Surprise! DR Ahmed had found out that I was taken to the ER because of her negligence and THEN decided to phone in a RX for antibiotic. TEN DAYS LATER. Ladies, if you have had a bladder infection you know you cannot ignore it for TEN DAYS. THIS DOCTOR is arrogant, cold, calculating and dangerous. LOOK elsewhere for your own good and GOOD LUCK!

I’m not a patient here but my family is/was. Let’s just say this is the worst doctor ever and her staff is completely incompetent except this one lady who basically does everything in the office. We have been to both clinics, one in lombard and another inside glen oaks hospital in Glendale heights. My mom was diagnosed with a illness and doctor never did anything to send her to specialist. Please if you go here runnn for your life and go somewhere else, this doctor is never on time and she barely takes 5 minutes in the room. Her assistant or NP is the one that takes the time but she also seems like she’s rushing the visit and To top it off, they doesn’t even examine patients at all!!! I feel bad for the staff because they are also dumb, and don’t know what they are doing. One looks like a crackhead and the others have accents you barely understand or can make out. Another I believe is Hispanic and she is the only one I feel for because she has to deal with the incompetent of her… colleagues and the idiot doctor. She has always been nice. Oh another thing the doctor refuse to refill my mothers medications because she stated she was “going to get addicted” when she clearly needed her medications!!!!! But soooooooooo Happy to say my family will no longer come here!!! And you all shouldn’t either. I would rate a “0” but “1” is the lowest I can go

Dr. Ahmed is one of the best primary care doctors I have encountered. Both she and her staff are top notch.

Very rude and unprofessional. Denied care after initially agreeing to provide assistance at hospitals direction. Denied having any knowledge of Micah Tiegs, MMS, PA-C who is her physician's assistant.

I took her 45 minutes to even get to the office. She was not paying attention to anything it's saying. I don't think I would recommend.
