Dr Iram Zubair, MD

I went to see Dr. Zubair since she was the only doctor with hours that worked for me. My husband and I are planning on trying to conceive soon and I wanted a general health check to see what I needed to take care of before becoming pregnant. She had my list of meds in front of her and how long I've been taking them. I've been on an antidepressant for 10 years for clinical depression, like an actual chemical imbalance that only meds can treat. She basically told me to stop taking them and just see a therapist. Like she didn't even look at how long I've been on my med to get a hint that I have to have it. I had some other concerns that may arise during pregnancy, and when I tried to ask her about them, she literally waved her hand dismissively at me and said we would deal with it when it happened. She didn't listen to me or address my questions. When I do get pregnant, I will not go back to her or allow her to handle mine or my baby's care.

Dr. Zubair is wonderful at her job. She is so knowledgable, helpful and listens to me when I have questions. I'm very disappointed to read negative reviews on this site because I've had the exact opposite experience. I don't trust anyone except Dr. Zubair with giving birth to my child. I'm scared and she makes me feel comfortable. She also is extremely detailed and I trust her to make the right choices when it comes to my health and the health of my baby. I would recommend her to ANYONE!

I had an appointment with Dr. Zubair and it was horrible. As I told her more about my condition she would cover her mouth and gasp loudly. Then when she did my pelvic exam she would say oh my gosh I think I feel something. She also knew of no surgeries on the fallopian tubes even though I had discussed them with other obgyn prior to moving to solano County. After reading the reviews further I'm so happy I decided to discontinue my care with her. I felt that perhaps my issues were to much for her

I would not choose this doctor again. Although I read the reviews but had no choise to take appt wit her, had emergency andd my regular doctor was out for a week. She was the only one available. Well... No wonder she was available, no one wants to have her as a doctor. She has not resolved my problem. She can not formulate her thoughts, if she has any (?) nor she can analyze the problem to convey to patient the issues. I had to summaries and to repeat aloud the jibberish she was stating. These inabilities is due to lack of knowledge and non existing communication skills. During the visit she forgot to perform an important test required to determine the existence of an infection. When I expressed displeasure she stated that I can do the swap test myself!! They did not take my temperature although I stated that it is possible that I am suffering with infection. Awful visit !! Do not recommend her to anyone. On the scale of 1 to 5 she is 0. Why Sutter Solano is keeping… her? The quality of Sutter Solano medical is bad. Sutter Solano must find a way of bringing great doctors to this community. Please remember it is not the waiting time only that counts but knowledge and expertise of the doctor.

Approximately 8 years ago, in Fremont, Ohio, Dr. Zubair preformed surgery on my wife for a Cystoceles (Prolapsed/fallen bladder)... Inside of 3 years it started dropping again, but Dr.Zubair had moved from here (Fremont, Ohio) Slow but certain it got much worse and a UROLIGIST was recommended....so eventually my wife had surgery performed again just last week.......The surgeon was unable to help her, the reason being was that Dr. Zubair attached the bladder to my wife's colon !! He was afraid of making more harm than already done....... (possible perforation).... He did not say that the previous surgery was done wrong, however he did wonder why it was done that way....Said that in 18 years and hundreds of that surgery he never once attached the bladder to the colon.... 2 options are left, a different type suspension, or closing the vagina !.........Neither of which he has experience doing. If my wife decides to try again he will recommend… experienced surgeons. /sigh IMO...Suggestion for Dr.Zubair....stick to births and C-sections......E.D. Stoyer

She forgot my name right after surgery and failed to even look on the clipboard. Did not EVEN believe me when I told her I had been diagnosed with endometriosis and said we would have to surgically open me up to verify. She doubted me so much so I said do it. She opened me up and I had expectations that she would remove some of the tissue to relieve my symptoms. She did not. She sewed me back up and did nothing but said for me to tell my mother that I wasn't crazy! I KNEW I WASN'T CRAZY! She didn't remove the tissue but did tilt my uterus back more and now causes more pressure on my pelvis. Shes uncaring, unconcerned and afterwards she took days to rerun my calls needing more pain meds. I finally had to go to my gen doc to get relief. She knows nothing about endometriosis. Maybe her specialty should stay strictly with delivering babies and staying out if the womb itself.
