Dr. Irena Chizhik, MD

Dr. Chizek is not very friendly. Kind of condescending. I would not recommend her.

I have been Dr. Chizhik's patient for a number of years and she is a remarkable and very knowledgable doctor who truly cares about her patients. She takes the time to ask the right questions and analyze the patient's condition prior to jumping to conclusions and prescribing treatment. I had once again witnessed her thoughtful approach after a hip replacement surgery when my condition began to rapidly decline. Dr. Chizhik thoroughly analyzed my condition, determined the cause of my symptoms and took all possible measures to ensure my quick recovery. I am endlessly thankful and would recommend Dr. Chizhik to everybody.

It's very scary people like her practice medicine ! Very unpleasant, unprofessional and rude physician !!! Complete lack of communication and respect for the patient ...I highly recommend to run opposite direction !!!!!!

When I was smoking, any complaint I had (such as a sore knee), Dr. C hollered at me that is was because I smoke. Since I quit 3 years ago, she still doesn't address my complaints. I have had a sore shoulder for a year and she keeps saying it's a strain and she doesn't even look at it. I will be looking for another doctor.

Not a good communicator. Does not listen to patient't concerns. Dies not build relationships. Does not like to be questioned. Look for Nother doctor.

I went to see her for a routine physical. I had to wait for her for about 40 minutes in the exam room after the nurse took some measurements. She and her staff did not bother to tell me that she doesn't do Pelvic exam/ Pap for routine physical. I had her sign a physical exam form, which requires result of Pelvic and PAP. She signed the form although she did not gave me pelvic exam/PAP. She also had me wait in the Nurses' station without telling me for how long or whether she would come back. I went back to her office and she yelled at me "go wait there". Nurses' station had computers with screens on and papers were laying all over. Where is patient confidentiality? Do not go see her unless you want to be treated like nobody.

When asked for reasons/explanations regarding my treatment, she did not answer, and got very angry that I would dare ask. Communication was beyond poor, she does not want to share information and gets rude and defensive when questioned. I will be looking for a new doctor.
