Summary
Dr. Irena Jug-Weiss earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1987. Upon the completion of her dental training, Dr. Jug-Weiss had the desire to pursue additional training and completed a General Practice Dental Residency at Virtua-West Jersey Health System. She has devoted her pracice to providing her patients with a high level of preventive, restorative, implant, and cosmetic dental care. Dr. Jug-Weiss is also an active faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor. She keeps abreast of all the latest dental materials and techniques through national dental continuing education courses, as well as participation with colleagues in the county dental society and local study clubs. Dr. Jug-Weiss has a passion for dentistry and learning. According to her, "Love of education and the pursuit of excellence in …everything you do is the most important thing you can have as a dentist." When Dr. Jug-Weiss is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family, her husband Ted, and daughter Jacqueline (age 16). They enjoy skiing, water-sports and traveling.
