Dr. Irena Kokot, MD

I've been a patient for 3 years and Dr. Kokot has been amazing, she has always helped my problems, listened to me complain, and comforted me when I was upset. Tye has been a wonderful nurse as well. I appreciate them and the staff. I would recommend them to anybody.

I have been seeing Dr. Kokot about five years and we have learned how to work together to get some of my issues-diabetes, HBP and a couple of other things under control. The only reason I didn’t give her five stars is because I can’t get her to help me with my fibromyalgia symptoms which I mentioned about three to four years ago. It is so hard to hurt like this and not having my doctor believe me.

Dr. Kokot is what we all expect in a primary care physician. She listens and takes the time to properly diagnose the problem.

For my routine work the Doctor was great. However, twice I have had emergent issues and had to fight to get in to the office and then referred. Pretty much I had to find my own specialists and fight to get an appointment. This latest situation, once I got into a specialist, turns out that the doctor blew off some findings in a test result and information I had brought up in my history. I had discussed several situations and turns out not a word was heeded. I have spent over a month in pain that Dr. Kokot said was a "flare up." It is not ... Finding a new doctor.

Dr. Kokot is very compassionate and caring doctor. A great asset to the Mohawk Valley community.

I went for a new patient orientation. She ordered a mess of tests I did not need and felt her mannerisms are very abrupt. She seemed more concerned about what she entered into her computer then what it was we were discussing. She put me off. Looking for a new dr with better bedside manner.

Terrible doctor misdianosed my son and got beligerant when we asked for a referal for a second opinion
