Dr. Irene Nancy Cody, MD

My first issue is you are NEVER seen on time and wait close to an hour to see Dr. Cody. Second, my medical issue was handled by her "advising" rather than "attending" to my condition. Stick out your tongue, say ahh, get on the scale, touch your finger to your nose. Nope, no more.

I've been with Dr. Cody for a long time, 10 -12 years. She has always been a good listener and a very compassionate and caring person.

Does not care and walks out and dismisses you

Questionable knowledge. Offered home-remedies with no scientific basis. Came for stress related help, got none.

Hard to sum up but carelessly pointed that my poor choice of shoes (TEVAs!) were the cause of pain in my feet and pointed out callously with a swipe of her pen that (but not unjustifiably by any means) that I could use some working out. Bizarre!

Dr. Cody was good at first. She is very thorough when it comes to check ups, but when she determines something a diagnoses she is stubborn and will not listen. She will follow up 6 + months later and sometimes you end up with other doctors in her staff which don't have a history or seem to care about what you say (just another co pay). I would not suggest her or her staff. The nurses are great! Not the doctors. The doctors could learn a little from the nurses in my opinion. Dr. Cody will not give referrals either if it was not for one of the nurses giving me a referral I would still have a cancerous mole on me.

After recent experience in the "meat-factory" of hosptal and institutional care, Dr. Cody was a wonderful relief; offering attentive, compassionate, well-directed and ministering care. We appreciated seeing a physician who seemed to love her work , and to relate to her charges, in contrast to the detached, perfunctory attitude encountered elsewhere. For our purposes, this was superior health care.

This doctor has no social skills whatsoever.

She is the worst doctor I've ever seen, and this would include visits to urgent care centers as well as doctors in developing countries. Her bedside manner is awful, and she doesn't want to be bothered with questions. She requires six-month follow-up appointments before she'll refill even routine prescriptions, which I can only guess is her way of ensuring a nice cash flow into the practice.

Dr. Cody is very inflexible once she draws a conclusion; I found her stubborn and a terrible listener. She knows best. The patient knows nothing.
