Dr. Irene Jernazian-Kanaian, MD

Dr Jernazian is a wonderful Doctor who takes the time to discuss any and all issues with me. I never feel rushed and she always has great advice. I always recommend her to any looking for an excellent psychiatrist.

Doctor Jernazian is like a next door mom surrounded by rude and unprofessional office staff. First of all, they take only cash for their copay, which is highly sketchy. The office staff is insanely rude. If it's not about the appointment matter, they won't return any of the call. I've been trying to fix my insurance billing issue for past month and haven't got in touch with anyone. These people are dealing with vulnerable patients and there's no empathy or even just simple professionalism in this place.

Why do I give a #1,she is not a great doctor,compared to other psychiatrist,she will NEVER be,because she rather make money & has no compassion for a patient in a hospital who is getting an iv got a blood transfusion & glucose.Her patient spent 3 weeks in a hospital who had surgery on her back.Jernazian expected her to come by ambulance to keep her appt.HOW IGNORANT FOR A SO CALLED PSYCHIATRIST& YOU CALL YOURSELF A DOCTOR? I WOULD CALL YOU , NO COMPASSION BUT COLD,WANTS MONEY INSTEAD!!!

Dr Jernazian is an excellent doctor!!!!! She is very caring and extremely knowledgeable!!!!!!

I get that a new psychiatrist doesn't really care or know who you are... it's a relationship that takes time and trust to build. However, I felt like Dr. J talked quickly, without an inkling of emotion or care, which came off very cold and rude especially during my times of serious distress. I don't feel like she cares about how a medicine might actually make me feel or if I need another prescription. She'll smile only once it's time to pay and as long as I'm in and out quickly. It's depressing.
