Dr. Irene Oilin Kan, MD

We love Dr. Kan! She has been our family pediatrician since our twin boys were babies and she is a meticulous, detailed, compassionate physician. She was highly recommended to us by neighbors and we are so glad we chose her to be our sons' doctor. She is available by email and message, and responds fast when we try to reach her. She also has many years of experience and has been able to explain things that other doctors were too busy to explain. We appreciate her and her kindness. We highly recommend her to all our friends.

Dr. Kan is a friendly, compassionate pediatrician and has a caring way about her with kids. My friends and I highly recommend her.

I had an appt for both my daughters (10mos and 3yo) one at 7:15am and one at 7:30am. We checked in at 7:05am and did not get brought back until 7:50am. At 8:20am, still no doctor and two crying children I went to ask how much longer it would be and the nurse responded with, "The doctor has a weird schedule with two 7:30's, two 8:00's..." I waited 5 more minutes and still no doctor at which I left and spoke to administration. It is completely unacceptable to have patients waiting this long, especially in pediatrics with young, restless children. I am very disappointed in the lack of care that was provided today. This doctor came highly recommended to us by friends but apparently at the cost of my own time.

Dr. Kan at Kaiser is wonderful. She spends a good amount of time at each visit and answers all questions. She is also warm and friendly, which makes visits less stressful for my toddler. We have had her as a pediatrician since birth and have only had good interactions with her.

We always leave her office thankful! Fantastic with kids and very attentive.

After visiting several pediatricians for my daughter, I was referred to Dr. Kan by a neighbor. She is fantastic. She genuinely cares for my daughter and my daughter loves to visit her. She has a great bedside manner, is thorough and asks questions, and follows up with us. She also promptly responds to any e-mails I send her. Even if her schedule is booked for the day if I want to make a same day appointment she finds a way to squeeze me in. Overall I would highly recommend her.

We read the reviews and asked many friends who they recommended at Kaiser Permanente in the north OC area. Dr. Kan's name kept coming up as one of the pediatricians in Orange County to meet. We gradually got to meet several pediatricians for sick visits and physical visits since we have several children. My kids liked Dr. Kan the most. She was the nicest to each of my kids. We loved her honesty and down to earth answers. The busyness of the clinic that she is at does not bother us because we know that we are going to see a great doctor everytime we go to see Dr. Kan. She is intelligent and wonderful with my children. My wife and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Kan has been our pediatrician since our son was 1 day old. He is now 20 months and we can't say enough good things about her. She is very sweet and intelligent! She is an awesome doctor and she works very well with our son! We just love her!

We visited Dr. Kan for a few sick visits since her regular doctor was always too booked up or was out of the office, and we liked her a lot. She took a lot of time to listen to us and we appreciated her honesty during the visit. Now Dr. Kan is Sara's regular doctor and everytime we go, she is kind to Sara (that's the most important)and down to earth with her explanations/answers. We feel that she does not prescribe something for the sake of prescribing medicine, and we appreciate that. Bravo, Dr. Kan.

We read the reviews about Dr. Kan and also felt compelled to write one since she is a truly wonderful person and pediatrician. We enjoyed having her see our 2 boys at the Yorba Linda clinic and we followed her when she moved to the Anaheim Lakeview clinic. Although the Anaheim clinic is much busier, she always takes the time to answer our questions and make sure that we understand what is going on. We like how friendly she is and down to earth. My boys feel comfortable with her. All of our experiences with Kaiser pediatricians have been good, but Dr. Kan is one of their gems.
