Dr. Irene Kuter, MD

Dr Kuter is very knowledgeable, but impossible to get a hold of for follow up. I worked with 2 other offices at Mass Gen for my mastectomy surgery and they would answer questions almost immediately, either through the portal or a call from the doctor. Not so in Kuter's office. At a time when you are trying to put all the post op pieces together, it is very frustrating to not get answers. Cancer is hard enough, you need follow through support from doctors and you will not get it with her.

Dr. Kuter is a quiet, unassuming person. You know right away that she is smart, has compassion,... but because of her nature, it might take a while to understand her brilliance, her think outside the box sort of style. She comes out with both barrels loaded when it comes to fighting your cancer.Three other Boston hospitals (where I went for second opinions) wanted to know what Dr. Kuter was thinking as the treatment plan that she presented was headed in a different direction than what they suggested. I decided to go with her decision and have been in remission from Stage 4 cancer for years and years and years. It has been miraculous. I would like to go back to all of the other physicians to show them that I am not only still alive, but am thriving. I owe it all to Dr. Kuter.

Dr. Kuter is very kind, great about explaining everything and really knows how to put you at ease. I feel that I am in great hands with her as my doctor.

Dr. Kuter is kind, caring and calm. She is knowledgeable about current research in the field and takes a lot of time to answer questions. She has presented options for me in an unbiased manner. I've been seeing her for almost 10 years and I'm thankful that she is overseeing my care.

Dr Kuter has been my oncologist for twenty years. She is excellent.
