I had great experience working with Dr. Afaq, he is knowledgeable and smart....has great bed side manners...listened to me like i was the only person in the world...i felt better after the very first meeting

Did not listen. Did not understand the big picture. Arrogant. My diagnosis of him is that he suffers from Napoleon’s Syndrome.

Went to Our Lady of Peace out patient program after 30 day's of detox in rehab. This "doctor" was very rude and then discharged me the 1st day. He was very argumentative with me regarding my after care. I'm appalled that this man's criticism of myself and my sobriety. The supervisor spoke with me and told me he would be able to rectify the situation. So, if you have to get help, don't look to Dr.Afaq for any.

My son was at the Brooks hospital and he was his doctor. Dr Afaq is the worse doctor I've ever seen. He refused to talk to me regarding my son's treatment. What doctor does that?! The med he did prescribe had my son like a zombie. which I felt the dose may have been too high, but he would't even discuss it with me. I then had my child release, because I couldn't get any help from anyone. This doctor does not care about his patients!

I would not recommend this doctor to No One. I had a emergency case with my father. He was taken to Jeffersonville Regional Hospital. This was the doctor assigned to him. My dad was there for 10 days. The doctor promised to call my mother 2 days after my father was there. No phone, the social worker said he would call on Friday then Monday then please wait by phone he is definitely going to call, this was on a Tuesday. Then come the following Friday Dad was to be released and see the doctor. NO conversation with this doctor. Didn't even see the doctor. The only information we got was from his social worker. He only seen my dad a couple of times. We were told that he was put on a new medicine by this doctor. The medicine he prescribed was the same as his family doctor had put him on 2 weeks prior to this issue. I feel this doctor need NOTHING for my dad. He didn't even sign his release paper's, and told us to be there at 2pm to meet us and talk. He left before we even… got there. Had to call him several times to get verbal to release my dad, this took 3 hrs. THIS IS A JOKE! POOR SERVICE AND CARE GIVEN. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR.

I would not recommend this doctor for women experiencing post traumatic stress disorder due to childhood sexual abuse. His immediate response is false memory syndrome even though patient had court documentation of abuse history. He is only interested in prescribing medications as a cure all and not actually treating reason for disorder.

Prescribed correct medication to help with problems. Accurately determined dosage and frequency of medication.
