Dr. Irina Gagua, MD

Uncooperative. Rude, short, thoughtless responses to correspondence via mychart. Unresponsive to patient requests. Does not treat my needs with any sense of urgency. Worst doctor I've ever dealt with, and I've dealt with a lot.

Sent a message on My Chart. Her response was quick. Received a direct phone call from her to discuss, as it was her day off, and moved my next appointment up to the first opening she had. This is the second time Dr. Gagua has called me directly when she is not in the office.

After test results or appointments, I've tried to communicate with her via mychart. On 2 separate occasions I've written thoughtful emails explaining my concerns, how I'm suffering, and the urgency, and her only response is "we will discuss upon your next appointment." Which is 4 weeks away. That's not reasonable at all. She refuses to order blood tests that I'm requesting based on family history and my symptoms. She is only interested in pursuing her own suspicions. Modern healthcare is a collaboration between doctor and patient, and good doctors understand the need to listen to their patients. She is not one of them. I'm finding a new doctor.

I was a patient at Good Sam recently. My doctors were perplexed by my symptoms and even though they were from different disciplines none had a clear-cut diagnosis. I received a spinal tap soon after arrival on Thursday. By Sunday we were still waiting on one test result. While D. Gagua wouldn't release me until all the tests were complete she researched my symptoms for several hours trying to come up with something for me.

Aweful bedside manner.

Dr very incompassionate and wouldn't even begin to listen to my concerns. Was very hot headed and never put the patients needs first
