Dr. Iris C Minna Sullivan, MD

My mother was a patient of Dr. Sullivan for many, many years. She always spoke so highly of Dr. Sullivan and how wonderful she was to work with. My mother was diagnosed with an invasive form of breast cancer in 2011 and sadly passed Jan 1 2013. I thank Dr. Sullivan for all the hard work she did and helping to comfort her and my family when she needed you the most. D Belliveau

I cannot explain how pleased I was with this top notch dr. after having a dr for 25 years. retiring dr blanco it was so very hard and with one bad experience I was worried she at split second she walked thru door took all my worries away treated me as me not a group of people we talked laughed disgussed my concerns my medication. I finally found peace I found the best of the best with dr Sullivan. please if your reading this believe me when I say she is fabulous

I love Dr. Sullivan she has the best bedside manner and she really cares about her patience. I would recommend her to anyone she is Great!

Dr. Sullivan is intelligent of course and so are the nurses working in the office. The nurses are awesome. The secretaries were decent but recently their act changed and they are being rude to me and my needs. I usually don't call the doctor for anything unless necessary or to ask for a professional opinion so this is a big problem in my eyes. They feel entitled to call the shots and ask Dr. Sullivan questions I did NOT request and give permission to do so. Dr. Sullivan is comical in a way but it doesn't last long. If you do or say something that isn't up to par she has something against you now. Almost like walking on egg shells with her. Very strange and unprofessional as a working physician. Witnessed and over heard her talking badly and making jokes about another patient to the secretary right while I was in the waiting room. My status right now is trying to find a new physician and not to go my to own for my current needs, which is terrible and I should not have to feel this way… considering their job is to take care of you and be extremely professional. Please think hard about your decision if you're looking for a new physician. I'm trying to help others avoid a bad situation to not end up like me.

I've been going to Dr. Sullivan for quite a few years. I have several health issues and I find Dr. Sullivan to be very caring and compassionate. She is straight forward and to the point when providing a diagnosis, which I love about her. Although, I must admit, sometimes the truth hurts a bit. LOL I trust what she has to say before I would trust any other doctor because she does not seem to care about the dollar as much as she cares about the individual. Yes, she can be a bit harsh at times, but she wants to be sure you..., the patient, listens and understands when the problem can become serious. Imagine being the doctor and trying to break through to the "denying mind" of a nervous eater, food-loving, pre-diabetic patient who, she, the doctor, knows will have more severe problems in the future, if they don't get serious about their diet. She Cares enough to keep trying to help you... she doesn't give up on you... Thank goodness!! She has a great personality and fantastic… sense of humor that you can't help but appreciate. She's extremely inteligent yet can speak to you on your own level. When I've asked her to explain illnesses, conditions, prescriptions or anything, she has always taken the time to explain. She is an outstanding doctor. She deserves to be commended for her patience, understanding, care, compassion etc etc I can go on and on, but...! As for Dr. Sullivans staff.. Well, let's say, she certainly knows how to find good employees and assistants. They are always quick to answer the phones, courteous, organized and professional. They get the message/request to Dr. Sullivan very quickly. I know because I always get a call back within 1 if not 2 hours. You can tell you have a good doctor when many of the staff members have been with them for years. Many of her staff has been with her since my first appointment there. I stongly recommend Dr. Sullivan if you want an experienced, knowlegable, trustworthy and compassionate doctor...get Dr. Iris Sullivan. She takes pride in being a GREAT doctor. PS. Her office is absolutely the cleanest office I've ever seen.

We found Dr. Sullivan after our old practice stopped accepting our insurance, but even if they change their policy... we're staying right here. Dr. Sullivan is kind, compassionate, and hysterically funny with a wicked sense of humor. She will not hold your hand nor pat your head; if you're looking for tea and sympathy, Dr. Sullivan is not the doctor for you. If you want honesty from a concerned doctor who genuinely cares about her patients, then this practice might be a good fit. I'm not sure I understand the complaints here regarding Dr. Sullivan's alleged breach of patient confidentially. My experience is quite the opposite; I've never observed even a whiff of HIPAA violation in her office (and my hearing is excellent). Patty, her NP, is outstanding (our daughters adore and trust her completely, which is extremely important to us) and her staff is pleasant and efficient. We love this office, this practice, and are thrilled we found Dr. Sullivan. Again, I really don't… get the negativity here, but perhaps she isn't for everyone â?? that's my best guess, anyway.

Run, do not walk! You may never get to see the Dr. You will see the nurse. She is nice & does well but heaven help you if you are in need of anything more than pills.

Dr Sullivan is sometimes comical, but incredibly rude. I called the office to schedule a blood test and thought I was pregnant. They refused to give me an appointment or a blood test, and told me that if the home test was negative, im not. DOCTORS SHOULD KNOW HOW COMMON FLASE NEGATVIES ARE. I had to call 5 times and yell the last time just to get the to draw up paperwork to send me for a test. my mother has had nothing but bad expirinces with he as well. she laughs and mocks you like she being funny, when in actuality she is stressing out people who are already panicked about being sick, or other cases. I cannot wait to find another doctor. Ive also had food poisoning, and I they said, its probably just a bug, drink a lot of water we cant do anything for you. DIDNT EVEN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR ME and I had been throwing up for days after swallowing nail polish on accident. This office is ridiculous.

This Dr. is the worst. You have to keep calling and pushing to get in to see the Dr. You more than likely will get bumped to the nurse. The Dr. is always too busy for you. The Nurse is ok but limited in what she knows so do not expect to much. Great for sending for test & suggesting more test & getting you pills for everything you can think off. If you need help or are sick they will try to schedule you an appointment in a month. Schedule you test. Get you a script. Tell you it will pass in time. Anything but offer you the help you need & are paying for. There is a reason that she is always accepting new patients, the others leave to find a real Dr. or maybe they just died off from waiting for an appointment or help. I would not send an enemy to this Dr.

Dr Sullivan is rude, does not care about her patients. She misdiagnosed my gallbladder pain as sciatic pain. Told me I was crazy. Before seeing me she stood out side the door and screamed out my personal information. Came in and just belittled me.
