Dr. Irma Jorgji Lengu, MD

I had to go see a urologist, and I chose Dr. Lengu. After seeing me, Dr. Lengu—who was not the best— she came to the same conclusion as what you could find on Google. I did some research on my own and asked her to recommend a topical cream, for me to try. She seems oblivious and unwilling to help me. As other reviews, she doesn't know what she is doing and told me ask another urologist. I had a $100 co-pay, and she wants me to see another person because she lacks knowledge and compassion. She also rushed me out of her office.

Terrible. Her diagnoses were completely off and inaccurate. She misdiagnosed my frequent urination at night as sleep apnea because she 'ran out of ideas' when I actually had a kidney stone. She was dismissive of my questions and concerns.

I'm not sure why Dr. Irma has such high ratings. She may have won awards and been recognized on the national level for her expertise, but her bedside manor is nonexistent. Lacking empathy, communication, and listening skills, she actually made me cry. I was ignored. I wasn't taken seriously. She questioned what 4 doctors previously diagnosed me with (a kidney stone) even though the evidence was right in front of her. I could even see it on the new X-ray she ordered. I am confident she did not listen to a word I said. She never asked me any questions; I just had to talk myself. It was like I was talking to a wall. I watched her review my test results and was eager to hear what she had to say about them. However, she never said a word. I was the one who had to ask for details. I wanted advice on everyday remedies, such as dieting and supplements, but she ended the appointment before I could even ask. I left that day extremely disappointed and unsatisfied. I will never go back to her,… and urge you not to take the chance.

Dr. Lengu showed genuine interest in my health. Very pleasant person.
