Dr. Irving Israel Haber, DO

I am so sick of reading bad things about Dr Haber. Hes a great guy if you give him a chance.. He just aint no idiot.. He knows when you go for him for pills just to get high and He dont play that game. He's a very smart, kind, caring Man. He saved my life. I wouldnt be here today if it wasnt for him. Yes. on your first visit it is a longer wait time. But after that it's faster. Me and My son both go to him and we both love him. So all of you out there that has your bad things to say then you dont have a clue what your talking about. He sits and listens to you. He takes time with you. He has helped me in so many different way. If i go there and say somethin is wrong. He is right on it and he wants to fix it and he'll try his hardest to do just that. I would recommend him to everyone that needs a pain dr. Just be patient. You wont regret it. Im so grateful to him. Im grateful to God that He led me to Dr Haber... He's the best. I've got no bad words to say about that man.. Thank You Dr… Haber for caring. You just keep being You. Your good at what you do. Your a Keeper xoxo

I am truly thankful for Dr Haber....I have SEVERE neuropathy, both legs entirely, elbows to fingertips and across the top of my back and shoulder blades. I do not know what I would do if it weren't for this man. He is extremely thorough on your first visit, which is great, and very understanding. Each visit I have met with him he has been very kind, would listen if I made a reasonable request and is honestly there to help! In this day and age when it is SO hard to get narcotics because there is so much abuse of them, it is a Godsend to find a doctor who will, as long as you're on the up-and-up, prescribe you the medication to actually help relieve your pain!!! BTW....he loves Batman!!! lol

I've been in and out of Dr. offices and hospitals for the last 27 years. It's a lengthy wait when you get to Dr. Haber's office, and I have little patience by nature, but trust me. The man is legitimately the best office visit I have ever experienced, and I lived in a hospital for a year once. His attention is completely undivided when you get his time, and he is a very sincere man, who will do whatever is necessary to help you with your issues, from my experiences.

Dr. Haber was nice and helped with my pain until I had to cancel an appointment, the morning of that appointment, due to being up all night with the flu. At the newly rescheduled appointment, he was furious, rude, and said I was “stealing” from him for not giving him proper notice. Every single appointment afterwards, he had a very poor attitude and was rude. I held my tongue and returned his rudeness with politeness, and pushed through the next several appointments. It culminated in him calling me “effing stupid,” (he used the real word,) because my insurance denied a claim. Like it was my fault. I held my tongue once again. I decided to terminate my relationship with him. I don’t recommend this doctor unless your life tends to go according to plan 100% of the time, or you enjoy being verbally abused. I have reported him to the state medical board.

Dr Haber is very professional and CARES about his patients.. he's never rushed in and then just disappeared on me...he will talk to you..He's been one of the best Dr's I've had.

The WAIT time for this office is not under and hour as indicated here. It is most often 4+ hours BUT not much choice in this case as there are only 3 PM Dr.s here

I was referred to Dr. Haber by my former pain mgt doctor bc she was moving out of town. I called to make the appointment, they let me come in to pick up a packet to fill out..nice wasn't it, to be ready for my appointment. I had spoken with Elliott, very nice young man. Over the course of the past 3 years, I have never see the doctor at my appointment time..ever..was told on my first time that a lady had been there 7 hours on her first appointment. Wonderful! You also have to do the urine sample, I do understand that, but I go there having to go to the bathroom bc I know if I go before, I may not be able to do the sample. I go to the window, get the paperwork that you have to fill out every time, I tell the receptionist I have to go to the bathroom, I have already been holding it a bit so it is starting to hurt..she says, I don't have a nurse available right now, give me a couple minutes. 45-60 later the nurse comes to the door, I'm livid by then of course. I ask the nurse why they… don't think how I feel, no comment, just get on the scale to be weighed. Ugh! Then hands me a cup, tells me exam room, I gave my purse, bc you can't take it with you..they don't trust you, to my husband, went to the bathroom. Came back to sit it on the counter n head to exam room. Nurse stops me in the outer area, where all the nurses n assistants are and starts asking about my medication. WHAT, out here, why not in the privacy of the exam? I'm really not happy. Finally get in the exam, and nurse starts asking me questions, she has her back to me, I guess they didn't think it was important to put it on my record that I was DEAF, and read lips. I made her mad to say the least. Doc comes into doorway, says hello, looks at me, my husband, mumbles to the nurse n he's gone. I have mail order pharmacy, so for my meds when it's a controlled substance, they let you have a script with one refill only. The visit before this, we did that, so I explained to this nurse when the new script could be faxed, and how it was to be done. I wasn't being bossy, I just had went through 5 phone calls to get the first one, and was trying to help them n me. She said they didn't do refills. I said yes you did, see right here..I had the paper..she went out, talking to someone else they came in, said they didn't do refills..basically called me a liar when I had the proof in my hands. I was so upset, I was crying, I told my husband as we were leaving that we needed to find another doctor. Oh, wow..another nurse comes flying out from behind the counter and told me I had an additude and that I was always rude and if I didn't act better that they didn't want me to come back. My opinion, anyone that gave him a 5... LIED...you are in pain, you are there to see a pain management doctor, you have to sit on hard wooden chairs for hours, they don't care. They overbook, so he gets more money I'm sure, but if you see him for more than 2 minutes you can count yourself lucky. I didn't know about this site until I started looking for a new doctor. I am sorry for rant is so long, but if at all possible keep looking, this will drive you crazy if you go to Haber.

Waited for 3hours to be seen , Was told by other patients this happens all the time to get use to it, Staff never apologized for my wait. Dr. Irving never listen to anything U said about the medication I had been taking for 16 years , He put me on meds that he said were not addicting and no side effects when u stop taking them , look them up and it said they were highly addicting, with lots of side affects. HE LIED !! He must get a kick back for putting people on these drugs, He has no RESPECT for his Patients !

wait time over 3 hours later then my appt. at least 2 hours or more later then my appt. on my last 5 appt. and when people complain to office staff , they tell them they know where the door is! then they make rude comments about that person to each other. VERY RUDED STAFF!!
