Dr. Plisco has been my PCP for 20 years. His priorly goal is to minimize drugs to only what is needed and keep me out of the ER or from going to unnecessary specialist. I have save thousands of dollars on needed medications due to his "big picture" way of treating patients. He has a background in emergency medicine and was a pharmacist before he became doctor. You would be hard pressed to find another MD with a focus on preventative medicine, to keep you out of the hospital, and truly be your primary MD and not cart you around to unneeded specialist or unnecessary procedures. He treats my whole family and many of my friends.

His girls were trying to give me an EKG and was having trouble with the leads, one went and got the doctor, he returned and told them they could leave, so I was in the room with him ALONE, he went to leave to get another lead , I'm on the table naked from the waist up and he leaves the door open!!! I remarked loudly asking him to shut the door and his response was "I'll be right back" !!!!! Then he did it a second time!! I didn't return!! And of course Essence insurance did nothing about it

Bad care or no care. Don't know if it is the insurance or doctor. Would never recommend this guy. My family is having sever hardship due to his misdiagnosis. Check out where his degree is from...Get rid is Essence Insurance before it is too late.

Dr. Plisco is a member and shareholder of the Essence Medicare Plan. Since Essence is doctor owned the doctors are shareholders and not just independent medical doctors. Dr. Plisco was very reluctant to refer my situation to a specialist or to approve an MRI when warranted due to cost of the treatment. My experience was very unsatisfactory since his primary interest appeared to be holding costs to a minimum rather than what treatment was best for the patient.

i have been going to this doctor for 10 years and got sick of his lack of caring about anything you say to him! this is one of those doctors that just wants your money, i have sines found a new doctor why in fact found big problems with my heath in the first visit PLEASE DON'T USES THIS DOCTOR IT COULD COST YOU YOUR LIFE!
