Dr. Simon and his staff are the best! I had my gallbladder removed on Monday and on Tuesday I was able to do all my normal activities. Of course, with restriction on lifting. Dr. Simon goes above and beyond. This was my 3rd surgery with Dr. Simon, all with great results.

We hit the jackpot when my husband was referred to Dr. Irwin Simon after being diagnosed with a hernia. Dr. Simon was very professional, warm, friendly and experienced when explaining the two options available for surgery. My husband opted for the DaVinci robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery for a right inguinal hernia repair with mesh which was less invasive. Dr. Simon is well known and very experienced for his expertise in robotic surgery. The surgery was a success from the beginning to the end and performed in a timely manner. Dr. Simon's bedside manner was exceptional when informing me of how the surgery went, what to expect and for giving me post operative guidance. My husband's follow up appointment was very thorough. Dr. Simon was very personable, easy to talk to and took the time to answer and explain any questions. We can't express ourselves enough of how thankful and Blessed we were to meet Dr. Simon and to have him perform the surgery. Our gratitude to Paula, Dr. Simon's… assistant. She was so warm, friendly, helpful and professional. She assisted us with any paperwork to be done, with explaining the hospital procedures and answering any questions. We actually felt like family after the follow up appointment. We would also like to give St. Rose San Martin campus staff a five-star rating for their efficiency, organization and professionalism from pre-op to post op. I am a retired firefighter and had a hernia. I asked around and when Dr. Simon's name came up from several people, I knew I found the right surgeon (I actually visited three before choosing). He and his staff are amazing. I had bilateral hernia surgery and everything went great. I highly recommend him!

I was referred to Dr. Simon by my primary care physician for surgery for a double hernia. The office is efficient and the staff is pleasant. There is little or no waiting for your appointments.Dr. Simon recommended a robotics procedure. The surgery was minimally invasive with no real pain or down time but with abdominal soreness for a few days. I would definitely recommend Dr. Simon.

While visiting Las Vegas it was determined that I needed to have my gallbladder removed. A nurse in the ER was kind enough to give me names of surgeons and I chose Dr. Simon. And what a great decision I made. I was able to see him for a consult very quickly and he scheduled my surgery for the following week, saying he didn’t want me to wait. My procedure went without any complications and my recovery was amazing —- no pain, not even any mild discomfort. Dr. Simon and his staff are the best and I would recommend him highly!

The last thing I needed to hear when I went to the ER was that I needed emergency surgery, for something I had never even heard of, Intussusception surgery. I was very impressed with Dr Simon asking me lots of questions and listening and acting on the information. Later both he and his staff were great with the follow up app. Excellent surgeon. Very thorough.

I recently had my gallbladder removed from Dr. Simon. He was highly recommended and I can see why. At my first appointment, he was very thorough and sat down with my husband and I to answer all of our questions. DJ, his office assistant was so efficient to get me on the surgical schedule promptly. While at the hospital, Dr. Simon took the time to meet with me before and after surgery. Finally, for the most important part, I have had phenomenal results! Quick recovery & minimal scarring!

Dr. Simon was my surgeon for inguinal hernia repair. He explained everything in detail so that my family and I could understand everything. He is very easy to talk to and assessable. His staff set up everything with the Spring Valley Monday for a Thursday surgery. His staff is friendly, professional and efficient. The surgery went well I did not have any pain post surgery and did not need pain medication. Upon post surgery examination all seemed well. My adult son recommended this doctor and I am glad he did. If I ever need another surgical procedure I would go to Dr. Simon.

I've had 4 procedures performed by Dr. Simon. He and his staff are terrific. Their service is the kind that "you received in the old days." I live over 35 miles each way. There are many physicians and 2 hospitals within 5 miles. Dr. Simon is worth the "schlep."
