Dr. Irwin Harvey Steiger, MD

Never did get to see a Dr. because the staff is SO unorganized, but worse than that, they could care LESS about me and my family. It was horrible beyond horrible. I have never been to any health professional where we were treated so badly. DO NOT even bother to call these horrible people. RUDE people!

I've been seeing Dr. Steiger for several years and he is an excellent doctor. I've had a number of medical issues over the past few years he always takes the time to listen, and he explains what is going on and discusses options. I've never felt rushed even though he is busy.

Your receptionist are rude and flippant when taking calls for appointments. Doctor Irwin is always fantastic but a recent visit was handled poorly and your client was rushed out with no direction and had poorly dressed wounds

I am thrilled with DR. Steiger as my new physician After being identified with diabetes during a routine D.O.T. Physical. Being new to the area I was fortunate to have been referred to Prairie Family Medicine at which time they referred me to DR. Steiger. WOW. He ordered a full blood panel and identified more than just the diabetes. He is incredible. Very truthful, Honest, And Caring; A spot on diagnoses and treatment plan. You undoubtedly saved my life. Thank you.

Doesn't listen or respond to questions very well. He interrupted me more than once while I was asking questions about my health situation. Found him to be arrogant and condescending.

Dr. Steiger was a Marine Corp O6 and boy does it show. If you didn't outrank him or were an enlisted guy don't mention you served. He treated me like a bad officer treats a lower enlisted guy, (much like a guy who doesn't like dogs treats a very stupid dog) and saddled me with a lifetime, in his words "Once you have it you have it" diagnosis of high blood pressure on the basis of two, same day in office tests which within ten minutes showed a downward trend. Gee I wonder why, I took the stairs a few minutes ago instead of being lazy and drank some coffee two hours prior. If you need a doctor for a CDL physical go to Dr Jefferson at Vally Medical or go somewhere else.

Dr. Steiger takes enough time to delve into a patient's health complaints - and is very persistent in following up to insure that a solution has been found - a darn good doctor.

This physician is excellent in his care and compassion for patients. He is a rare find in the medical field and I am lucky to have him as my physician.
