Dr. Isaac Melamed

Isaac Melamed does not care about patients or their opinions on treatments. He is rude and gives the same patronizing lecture every visit. He is self-important, but not actually a good doctor. Because he doesn't care what anyone else things, be prepared for him to demand you spend money on a battery of tests - and, you have no choice. If you think his treatment plan won't work for you, he doesn't care. Save your time and money -find a better doctor.

Dr. Melamed is the best immunologist. He will have answers. His knowledge is unsurpassed. If you know something about immunology then you know it is the most complex system in our bodies and it is more than an allergist could ever explain. Immunology is very complex and very difficult. Immunology is what we would say is rocket science and very difficult to understand. Dr. Melamed is the doctor to see for immunology. He treats and heals.

Dr. Melamed takes interest in challenging cases. He loves research. He needs a doctor to assist him to do the work of seeing the patients while Dr. Melamed does the research and directs the provider/doctor to care tor the patient. Dr. Melamed's assistant; the doctor who sees the patients for Dr. Melamed, needs to direct the staff to Dr. Melamed's and the assistant doctor's health plans. Needs a clinic manager and patient advocate versed in ensuring patient's health plans are followed through, the clinic manager and the advocate should be given privilege to evaluate the staff to ensure the best care is given. Also, strong customer service is achieved by advocating for patients by addressing any concerns and following up with patient's care when some might fall through the cracks. Dr. Melamed's work load is extreme and he should delegate more. Dr. Melamed is the ONLY doctor who will find out what ails you and will save your life. He wants to save everyone's life and he is good at it. Dr.… Melamed should probably allow others to help; he should delegate. He needs another doctor to personally evaluate the patient while he asks the questions and the other doctor should relay the answers and the bedside manner to comfort the patient. Dr. Melamed does not comfort; he only finds the problem(s) and he does his infinite best to treat you and wants to heal you. He is truly amazing. However, we are ALL human and we cannot do everything; therefore, Dr. Melamed is a doctor who will research for answers and will do is infinite best to help you. He does not have extra time to spare since he is researching your lab results and looking for your answers to your health problems. He will find answers, he is that good. There is no other doctor who will invest their time to help you feel better. There are quirks but that is true for all of us. Dr. Melamed does need some staff help especially a health manager for the clinic(s) to ensure staff is following his treatment plans. It would be of great service if Dr. Melamed had an accompanying doctor to do the doctoring of the patient with the personalization of answering questions and ensuring staff followed the treatment plans while Dr. Melamed continued to focus on research and treatment plans. Dr. Melamed needs to be two people; one for who he is, the researcher, and one for working with the patient.

okay so this man is a vampire

This office is very poorly run. I believe Dr. Melamed may be a great doctor, and I have heard that from people I know personally, but I've never seen an office run this poorly. I flew in from out of town to see Dr. Melamed, and when I got to the office for my scheduled appointment they told me that Dr. Melamed was out of town for a conference - yet nobody from the office had bothered to reach out to me to let me know. So I rescheduled for a few days later and extended my trip. Then at that appointment Dr. Melamed was so busy that when I finally was able to see him (after over 2 hours of waiting) he wasn't familiar with my case at all and didn't even know what medications he had prescribed me, and had to rely on his assistant who is always in the room with him. I asked him to explain why he was prescribing what he was and he couldn't even try to answer my question, he just looked at me like a deer in headlights. That all is to say that my two appointments with Dr. Melamed were extremely… underwhelming, and I felt very disrespected by the way they conducted themselves. However, I have heard good things about him so I don't know if my experience was an exception or the rule.

Dr. Melamed was reffered to me by a customer at my work, this person gave dr. Melemad great prase at working with there daughter. He is great with actually listening to a variety of ailments And the first doctor I've found to take to active approach on trying to help me to get better or on a path to ease symptoms.also first doctor to get my disease diagnoses correct. We are very happy with the treatment Dr. Melamed is giving to our son Jacob and the approach he's taking. As well as giving us more options than we were having with previous doctors.

Great experience as always. I was seen promptly and had ample time for discussion and questions. Complex issues thoroughly explained.

just like the other reviews mentioned, he is rude and arrogant. He's good at taking your time and money
