Dr. Isaac Perez, MD

Very bad experience with this so called Doctor. He is not a surgeon. I would not recommend him to any one. If this surgery doesn’t heal completely or correctly there will be consequences. I was told that he was unauthorized to give any medication to me after surgery.

Dr. Perez removed a cyst from my back. He didn't inject enough numbing medication in the right places to sufficiently numb the area, so I could feel a lot of the cutting and the cauterizing. Once I was stitched up and bandaged I was sent home with minimal wound care instructions. Within a week, my stitches began to pull apart so I made an appointment and returned to see Dr. Perez. I told the nurse what was going on and she relayed the information to the doctor and tried to take me into an exam room where Dr. Perez was. He stopped her from letting me in the room and refused to examine the wound. He deliberately moved to a position behind a door, where I couldn't see him. He would only speak to the nurse, even though I was standing directly behind her. After Dr. Perez left the exam room, the nurse finally looked at the wound and told me to start coming in for wound care. It took several months for the wound to heal. The scars were terrible and within a year, the cyst returned. I… finally had to go to a plastic surgeon who said that Dr. Perez had not done the procedure correctly and had left the roots in place, which is why the cyst came back. The plastic surgeon removed it, and left me with minimal scarring and the cyst has not grown back. I will NEVER go back to Dr. Perez and would NEVER refer anyone to him. The experience I had while under his care deserves ZERO stars.

I have been seeing Dr. Perez for a few years and have always found him and his practice to be very knowledgeable, professional, and up to date on new innovations. He is very honest and doesn't try to oversell. He continually shows appreciation of his patients with in office specials and open house refreshments. Dr. Perez himself is not an extrovert so that may be surprising to new patients, but I assure you he is a very caring person.

I had a horrible itchy rash for 4 month. After consulting 5 doctors (including another derma in the area and an allergist, Dr. Isaac Perez was precise with the treatment. It was an immediate treatment/result. Continue with him and spread my experience with everyone I can. Thanks!

Dr Perez was good. His nursing staff excellent. The first staff member was RUDE! When I said I had Medicare as one of my coverages, she said "Oh no, not Medicare". I went back for a follow up just 4 days after a procedure to question why I developed a huge blood blister. Her first words were.. "Medicare is not going to pay for that!" I have never been to a doctors office EVER that was so mean. Everyone else great. She was a reason why I may not select Dr Perez again. No people skills at all!

Another doctor could not see me in 15 days. You saw me in 1 hr!! Thank you!!
