Dr. Isaac Pourati, MD

I was a longtime patient of Dr Isaac Pourati until recently. Over the last several visits his behavior was irratic acting angry without provocation on my part at multiple appointments and acting seemingly fine the next only to act angry at the next appointment. In my appointments his NPs have presented incorrect information regarding my medical records and when I corrected them they told me they only go by what the records show. One inconsistency in particular is vital to correct treatment by Dr Pourati and his staff. In my encounters with Dr Pourati in both private and public settings in his office he has kept me waiting for more than 90 minutes because he or his staff forgot about my appointment. He then tried to blame it on me in the lobby of his medical building raising his voice disrespectfully in front of other waiting patients. I have never had any issue with any heathcare provider at any time in my history and given no reason to be treated so unprofessionally. I no longer… believe Dr Pourati has my best interests at heart nor trust him due to this behavior and have discharged him as my local cardiologist. I hope he considers this a wake-up call.

Terribly unpleasant doctor. I worked with this doctor for many years. He once demanded that I hold equipment during a case by describing it as me holding up male genitalia. I was scared and embarrassed. I reported him to HR but nothing was done. I think he must know someone high up, but that doesn't give him the right to treat women this way.
