Dr. Isabel Hodgson Anderson, MD

She triggered my body dysmorphia and even my therapist said I should switch doctors. I saw her for years and really liked her but she seriously lost my trust and I refuse to see her ever again. She has disregarded all my health concerns with my period as well as to them being related to my anti-depressant or the pill to assuming that I eat poorly and don't exercise. I know that doctors are obssesed with BMI and can't seem to look past it but she especially is one of those doctors. Without asking me what I eat (which I probably eat way healthier than her) after telling her that I exercise 5 days a week with strength training, running and swimming she proceeded to tell me to exercise more. Well guess what, I now am recovering from a massive hip injury thanks to over-doing it. She could have cared less about any of my suffering of all my period issues and refused to look at the root cause of them.

I met with Dr. Anderson for the first time today and she spent time listening and asking questions, getting right down to the nitty gritty. Very sharp, answered all my questions and gave me some excellent advice on how to resolve my problem. Scheduled a follow-up in 3 weeks and was just as thorough and very relaxed which I liked. I'll recommend her to anyone needing a great OB/GYN!

Dr. Isabel Anderson is the best doctor I have ever seen. She is extremely knowledgeable. What stands out about her the most is that she listens and is empathetic. She is an excellent provider and a great person.

I went for an annual exam and when she did not provide a breast exam I asked why. She literally sat down in her chair, kicked her legs out, crossed her feet... leaned back, put her hands behind her head with her elbows out like she was having a break while she blathered on about how the industry is changing and I now have my choice of whom I see for a breast exam. Ugh, I thought she was! In the 15 minutes she explained the whole process and how I would be charged if she did a breast exam... she could of sent me on my way after a quick check. Not professional and the Park Nic complaint system is pathetic. They don't return my calls. When I spoke with the "clinic" supervisor, Maureen McConnell, I was told that the issue was evaluated and Dr. Anderson said I already had my annual breast exam somewhere else. Ugh... it was Jan 6 and NO - I had no exam in 2015. So after explaining that to the Women's Center clinic Supervisor Maureen McConnell, she was going to ck again and get… back to me. Never did... I had to keep calling and finally a letter came from her saying I probably would not like it - but it was DENIED. What about the answer to my question? What prior breast exam? I did not have one. I was owed one. I did not get one and still have not now almost 8 months later and over 14 hours on the phone writing to get help and get this corrected. It's PATHETIC. I've asked PATIENT RELATIONS to return my calls and they SEND ME A BILL. This is a professional medical facility? This is how they handle their patients and their care. Something is really wrong. How about the ADMINISTRATORS putting some contact info so I have options besides the pathetic patient relations. The BOARD at the hospital need to add emails so I can share my experience. Shame on Park NIC. You are my neighborhood care center. Shame on you. NOW I have to fill out all the paperwork for the Attorney Gerneral's office and then wait for the denial letter. Thanks Dr. Isabel Anderson... I am glad I could provide you a short respite rest in your wheely-Doctor chair while you bill me for it.
