Great experience very knowledgeable

Dr. Otero was examining me and began to insult me about my personal choices with my sexual life. She told me I was and I quote “Making the biggest mistake of my life moving in with my boyfriend” without being married. She told me it wouldn’t work out. I have never been more humiliated and seen such unprofessional behavior in my entire life. Especially because I was in the middle of an exam when she decided to put her two cents in. I was completely vulnerable. She immediately dismissed me and treated me differently. She mixed her religion which she made very very clear and her profession which was a mistake. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone who wants respect.

When Dr. Selbst retired, he highly recommended "Dr. O." Have been her patient for over 15 years and found her to be very caring, trustworthy and genuine in her manner. I feel very comfortable and well versed for my annuals and testings. Dr. O actually has phone calls made to inform results of your tests! Further, having recommended her to others - she has delivered all 4 of my daughter's babies! Dr. O makes you feel like family.

I've been seeing Dr. Otero for the last 6 or 7 years annually and have been prescribed birth control pills by her to help regulate periods. Went to my yearly appointment this year after having waited a month because my first appointment was rescheduled due to her being at the hospital, once I was called to the back and told them I was there for my yearly and prescription renewal, I was told that Dr. Otero no longer prescribes birth control!!!! The staff wanted me to stay and do my exam with her, then pay to come back to see another doctor for a prescription! I think that is something you should let patients know when they are scheduling an appointment and missing work to come in. A waste of an hour and now I have to find a new doctor.

Doctore Otero is profesional and old fashion doctor in the way she take time with her patients to get to know them. I totally recommend her

I been going to Dr. Otero since last year, every time I go i have to wait at least an hour before she examines me. Last time I went, I waited in the room 3 hours!!!! the staff finally told me the Dr. was not comming in that day, How unprofessional!!. The staff is very rude and unfriendly, but the Dr. is nice. Never going there again.

I was referred by a friend to make an appt with Dr Otero. I waited for over an hour, naked and cold, in the exam room. Dr Otero never came in to examine me. I was told she was doing a procedure. Why schedule me to have me wait while she performed a lengthy procedure on another patient? I was frustrated and left. I would never refer anyone to Dr Otero or go back. NEVER! I lost two hours from work for NOTHING!

I have been going to Dr. Otero for at least a couple of years, she also did a procedure on me which was required. Getting an appointment is sometimes a mission, you have to wait days, or weeks, her appointments are always overbooked, the wait time to see her can be from 15-20 min. or longer once you're there. Once you're in with the doctor, she is friendly and answers my questions and concerns. She's so busy, that follow up appointments are weeks away. Her staff is ok, but they give out appointments and then when you get there to the scheduled appointment, you are told it's for a different time frame. When you hold a job and have children, you don't have the luxury of sitting for an hour or more to be seen, nor for a procedure. My time is very valuable, I really like the doctor, but she either needs different, more competent staff, or she needs to have her appointments spaced out more appropriately.

I would never recommend her. She is rude and impatient and quick to cut you open. Hher staff is cold, uncaring and unprofessional.
